One of the root problems of our society is a refusal or inability by media to articulate that all those “it’s gonna be an apocalypse” disasters were not disasters because we collectively did something about them.

The good news is this is actually quite correctable. I maintain my firm belief that we as humans are capable of solving almost all of our problems, when we decide to do so.

And I still think that’s going to happen. I don’t know when or how, but I do know that abandoning hope won’t help bring it about.

And I refuse to let the cynics own a chunk of my heart.

Monster Hunter Stories 3 muse

One aspect to this game I'm intrigued in is the muse potential for what they called Invasive Monsters. Now fundamentally, a lot of monsters are invasive, especially the modern Arkveld population who have arisen entirely from an artificial bioweapon. But in Stories 3, these Invasive monsters have significent biological / ecological differences from their base form, basically akin to variants/deviants. More so, their role in the story as a wall blocking you from an endangered species is fascinating. This makes for interesting dynamics in how the Invasive monster may itself play a role in the decine of the walled species and compare/contrast between them. Here's my take on the ones seen in-game thus far.

All in all, interesting dynamics. Should Stories 3 start bringing in TUs featuring more of them, what combo of 'invasive variation + endangered monster it walls' would you want? Perhaps an Invasive Rey Dau blocking off Uth Duna, or an Invasive Glavenus walling Monoblos?
