Something something yes racism is a thing, yes, tourists and first world immigrants (not expats, not calling you that) can experienced racism.
But sometimes, it fucking bothers me that a lot of xenophobia rant get mixed with white guy not being treated as special in the place they come to visit because they see it as some random nothingburger land where they are the protag.
I mean, there are racism when it comes to white tourists, but I swear to god some of these people just suddenly realize "xenophobia" once they realize they can't do anything they want.
I'm talking about the white guy who complained about how the government is being racist toward him and xenophobic because they do not let him enter military zone. Like, everyone already explained, it is a military zone, it is a sensitive spot, literally there are so many rules like this all over the world. While the guy is enjoying his vacation in the province where Indonesian-Chinese people have no fucking rights to own a business or land there even if they are an actual 5 generation citizen. But noooooo, these brown servants are xenophobic because he can't enter military restricted area, while he is probably treated well as white tourist.
What does it say that in nearly every case where its stated that a country is in danger of under-going a "demographic collapse"/Low Fertility Rates I can almost universally identify 2/3 commonalities among them that is driving it that a lot of those nations always avoid talking about?
The Countries in question always have at least 2 of these three things:
An economic system that has led to a society that is actively hostile to the idea of affordable living for a single adult never mind a family with multiple children.
An unaddressed history of active misogyny towards women. (this is present in every single one of these countries)
An unacceptably large portion of the populace and/or government obsessed with the idea of racial purity or cultural homogeneity that works to actively push out undesired ethnic groups.

Yeah the things you identify as common factors are claims that your political camp make about literally everyone no matter what regardless of evidence
So at bare minimum, you've identified common factors like "breathes air" and "drinks water"
But also those last two criteria are very obviously far more true of countries that do not have a fertility problem
wasn't there also a big movement in 20th centuries where government put a shitton of money for contraceptive propaganda. Okay, that made me sound anti-contraception, but there were some countries that made posters about limiting the number of children you have and policies to punish anyone who have more than 2 children.
Like I feel a lot of people seems to pretend this never happen at all. Because some governments did once put a fund to tell people to have less children, then got surprised that it works. Also, people have a lot of children back in the days because they were less likely to survived, the industrial revolution happened, QoL increased, people have the same number of children as before but most of them survived. But people were making too many children that maybe they need to reduce the numbers or people realize life is good enough for 2 children.
Also, doesn't explain why people could have like 9 or more children back then where society is way worse
