Satoko smirked as she finished setting up the water bucket above the door, laughing to herself quietly. Typically when she sprang a trap like this, it had a specific target. Today, however, she was just bored - currently stuck in the library, forced to study all alone. Whoever was the next person to open that door would find themselves completely soaked.
In her mind she had hoped it would be her best friend, Rika. An appropriate punishment for leaving Satoko to study all by herself. Maybe she would change her mind and join her, after all. Satoko knew it was unlikely, but loved the idea anyway. Whoever it was, she couldn't wait to see their reaction. It was a simple, classic trap, but an effective one, regardless.
Keiichi shot up in his seat, eyes wide with shock at the sight of the newcomer with Satoko. Even before Rena could seize the reindeer, his body moved to react. At first it seemed like a defense mechanism of some sort, but after a moment of appearing shaken, the male student spoke with a calm smile.
"What the heck, Doctor! You didn't tell me you were a student too!" It appeared Keiichi had already met Satoko's new friend earlier, though Chopper was too shocked and confused by Rena restraining him.
"Agh! What the heck!? What's going on!? I knew they wouldn't like me!" Chopper seemed to think he was in some type of trouble, placing his little foot hoof onto Rena's toros to kick his body outward in hopes of prying her arms apart and slipping out of her arms, whining and wriggling the whole time. He clearly didn't absorb her words of finding him cute, having assumed he was being grabbed for some type of malicious purpose. He didn't even notice Keiichi's fond words.
"Hm...?" Mion's eyes narrowed slightly at the sight of Chopper. A stern gaze shot his way for several awkward seconds. Satoko brought the club fresh meat for their games, which could be fun for a while, though the strangeness of the newcomer was almost more intriguing than the thought of whether or not he'd be as hapless at games as Keiichi once was. The green-haired girl's expression turned from serious to playful in an instant as she smirked at the creature in Rena's arms.
"Alright! Call me Uncle Mion, Chop-chan. Yer' gonna be great here!" Frankly, it was the fact that Keiichi already seemed to know him that made Mion so quick to accept a bizarre creature like this without some silly test or initiation.
"What's his story then? He's with that new family that just moved in or-" Mion was cut off by the sound of Chopper slapping Rena's arm with his small hoof hand, fiercely shouting at her.
"Lemme go! I didn't do anything wrong!" He huffed aggressively, though given his small stature in this form, Rena may not have felt the sting very much. Had this persisted, he may have to transform to get her to unhand him.
"Um, Rena, I do think you might be scaring him just a little." Satoko chimed in, unsure if Rena would even hear her.
"You're just sooo - Huh?" Before she could continue her sentence, Rena finally seemed to snap out of her cuteness-induced trance, at least long enough to realize how upset she was making Chopper. That hadn't been her intention, and immediately she felt bad.
"Oh, I'm sorry! Sorry! I just thought you were sooo cute, I couldn't resist!" Rena tried to explain, immediately letting go of Chopper. "Please forgive me!"
Simply smiling along at the chaos, Rika turned to Keichii. "Wait, Keichii, have you met Chopper before?"

Chopper sighed in relief, knowing that pretending to be a cat was something he could definitely manage to do without issue. Smirking, he nodded his head a few times. "Sounds good then! I don't think I'll lose at these games anyway!"
After a few hours of getting to know Satoko, the reindeer happily entered the clubroom in order to officially become a member and play his first game with them, getting a decent look at the new faces. He nodded his head slowly, taking everything in and silently trying to figure out which one was Rika. "Hm... did you already tell them about me, Satoko?"
"I haven't had a chance yet, but what better time to introduce you than your very first club meeting?" Satoko turned her attention to the others in the room, smiling and waving.
"Everyone! Stop what you're doing immediately. I'd like you to meet our newest club member! Introducing... Chopper!"
Rena had been talking with Keiichi but stopped immediately when she saw the newcomer walk in. Instantly her eyes lit up when she saw him, he was so small, so fluffy, and his little hooves and nose! He was so cute, Rena couldn't help herself.
"HAUUUUU! OHMYGOSH, HE IS SOOOO CUUUTE!" Rena ran over to him and picked him up, hugging him tightly. "I wanna take you home with me!"
Rika smiled. "I didn't know you made a new friend, Satoko! This is so exciting! Surely the club will be much more interesting with six members."
Turning her attention towards Chopper, who was still being squished by Rena, she added, "It's nice to meet you! My name is Rika. You're gonna have a really fun time here if you choose to stay!"
Satoko moved to sit next to Rika, but addressed Mion. "I hope you don't mind that I invited a new member without asking you first, Mion. I just thought he would make an excellent club member, and I couldn't pass up the chance."
'mobsters' are part of a 'mob'. and so you'd think 'lobsters' would be part of a 'lob', but ohohohhohoho, life just isn't so simple

Giving the Satok two options.
"Kill them with kindness" WRONG. drop the opera house chandelier on them.
enough about the timeloop I wanna hear about the post-timeloop.
person who just got over the horror of being trapped in a loop and settled into a comfortable routine...but then the timeloop breaks and they struggle to reacclimatize. person trapped in a loop for years who grieved their loved onesβwho are suddenly back and acting like nothing happened (because for them nothing did). teenager who aged physically and mentally during the timeloop and now they're so much older than they're supposed to be. random strangers who were trapped in a loop together relieved to get away from each other at last, but feeling oddly bereft of familiar company. service worker who is pissed as fuck to have to go back to work
person who lost their impulse control suddenly living in a world that has consequences again. person who lost their brain-to-mouth filter and now just says things they can't take back. person with choice paralysis because the future was certain and safe and familiar for so long and now who knows what the fuck will happen next. gimme timeline re-entry dysphoria!
sorry i didn't respond im losing my fucking mind
Happy birthday to Satoko!

Chopper chuckled softly and nodded his head, happy to kill time until that meeting by seeing what the school and its surrounding area. The small child before him just seemed like she'd make a good tour guide judge from how easily excitable she was. It was the kind of energy his own family often had back home.
"Well, if we play tag and hide and seek, that might not even be fair given my-" Chopper stopped, his eyes widened in a bit of a panic at something Satoko mentioned. "Punish? Wait, are there penalties for not showing up? What happens? Should I be worried!?" He sounded a bit scared of the idea, an indication that his own family getting mad tended to be worrisome for him. Nami sure was scary when he got bad grades in subjects he wasn't paying full attention to after all.
Satoko paused seeing the fear in his expression. Honestly, with how her uncle had treated her in the past, if she didn't know what the club punishments were already she would be pretty scared at the idea of them, too. She wondered for a moment if maybe his family was as bad as hers, or something similar.
"Oh, don't worry! It's nothing too bad. Usually just something silly - like how Rika once had to pretend to be a cat for the rest of the day!" Satoko replied, hoping to ease his nerves.
this is all that was going through my head during that scene in Meakashi where Shion yells at Satoko about how she's the reason Satoshi is suffering and throws random stuff at her.
