This comic kind of represents the problem of letting your players roll for anything in dnd. Everything is possible in this escenario, unlikely though, but 1/20 chances is really high when talking about things like trying to decipher a language you've never seen. Oh, this roll has a difficulty of 99? Don't worry a nat 20 will do, it's never lower than 5%.

Sometimes players should find themselves on situations they don't need to roll bc there's no way they succed to this, when it's physically impossible.
