"wyll's too nice i'd like him more if he were a little meaner and angrier" you guys couldn't handle vivienne de fer having a complicated relationship with the oppressive system she was raised in. you couldn't handle liam costa making a minor but well-intentioned mistake. you couldn't handle preston garvey having a recurring fetch quest.
you couldn't even handle early access wyll who was angrier and grappled with moral quandaries more. and you can't handle wyll as he is now when he playfully teases astarion.
I think the biggest issue with Wyll is that he’s got really good character traits and story line that has been executed in the most flaccid way possible, like the writers couldn’t even commit to the character they wrote.

something that gets to me just a little bit is that ai art literally all looks the exact fucking same and while as individual artists we can’t do much about the money machine dictating the rules of the career field we can decide that this “better, idealized” art is ugly af and that corporate approved anime-disnified-square-enix looking ass art is not the fucking end all be all of illustration and we could all collectively take a step back from “stylized-semi-realism” and find personal art styles and methods of creation that ai *cant* algorithmmatize cause it’s too random and organic and *free*

if inktober is reminding me of anything it’s that fan art is stressful and drawing things for the sake of others enjoyment is the best way to nuke my artistic ambition, and that I have more fun drawing for myself and the niche people who like what I make. like i know if I drew the bg3 sad meow meow I’d easily get the most notes on it than anything else on this blog, but at what spiritual cost?

Day 4 - Dodge
Day 3 is turning into a multi hour project lmao so to compensate I spent 30 minutes on this one. Happy with the composition though it’s messy. Will probably remake on a larger scale for a winter project mayhaps.
Working on Day 3
I’m pretty (currently) adamant with myself I want to do Inktober every day this year. (Or at the very least do every prompt). And one way to hit this goal is allowing myself to put as much effort as I feel putting into it. And if a certain prompt just “doesn’t do it for me”, I can just phone it in and move on. That is not happening this morning. I’m using todays prompt as an excuse to make a painting I’ve been pushing off since last year. Let’s goooo!
