People will say “write what you know!” But I know so little
“Bad books on writing tell you to ‘write what you know’, a solemn and totally false adage that is the reason there exist so many mediocre novels about English professors contemplating adultery.”
—Joe Haldeman
What a perfectly brutal comment.
It’s been an amazing, beautiful and crazy journey! I have loved writing and interacting with fans of my work, a huge shoutout and with extreme gratitude goes out to @filthykissesandwhiskeywords for her support of my writing and hosting her open writers forum on Monday’s #wordsbroughttolife and to @blueeyedkitten70 who has tagged me every morning for years in her good morning tumblr posts. There are countless other bloggers, but I’d be tagging blogs all night. I’ve met some absolutely fabulous people on my path to discovering the writer within these past few years and a few I’d much rather forget. After my stalker issue it’s time for me to step back. I will not live in fear, but I need time to recharge, recenter, and re-evaluate.
This is not goodbye forever... just a break. I wish you all the very best that life has to offer! Life is too short, always be you, live your best and most authentic life, be happy! Remember to love yourself first and always! For now though it’s time for me to say Ciao!
Peace ✌️~Much Luv ~ As always ~S🥀

So much has happened I’m not even sure where to begin. Well I’ll preface this by saying I am OK, and my girls are OK. In my own life my works been nuts, I’m exhausted most days. But nothing, not even my past could’ve prepared me for what was about to happen...
Wednesday, November 20 I was getting ready for work and my friend called me I answered the phone to her hysterically crying that her husband tried to commit suicide, the medics were able to “bring him back” and took him to the hospital, I quickly left and met the sheriff at their house and took her to the hospital.
They flew him from one hospital to another. It would be a heart wrenching next 8 days. Sadly he never regained consciousness and died Thanksgiving morning at 1:32 in the morning.
Suicide has consequences for all! It’s not “easier” or “better” and you’re certainly not doing your family any favors!
Now she has to explain to their two children (ages 12.5 & 10.5) that they have to leave everyone and everything they’ve ever known, because they have to move away and stay with family because she doesn’t think she can afford to live here on her own and support their two kids.
I get it life gets crazy, especially this time of year. BUT PLEASE REACH OUT FOR HELP
Death is such a permanent solution to what could be just a temporary life setback… I know it’s not easy, but please ask for help… the world doesn’t need to lose one more beautiful soul… 1-800-273-8255 national suicide prevention hotline
