Suuuuuuuuper quick sketch of an alternative main outfit for danny, I like to doodle redesigns for the characters as warm ups. He seems like a loser who would wear double denim (like me age 15)

I added a quick Fenton Peeler redesign yesterday as a warmup before drafting out some ideas for a yugioh playmat commission haha, I don’t play the card game but the harpies sure do be cool

I was working on day 2 of dannymay; wish, and I realised I needed to redesign Desiree before I could draw what I wanted.

Anyway.. I spent about 4 hours researching jinn/djinn/genies and the problems behind portraying a character like Desiree the way she was in the show, I read two interesting essays (Peterson’s “Jinn to Genies” is available free online as a downloadable pdf) and read up on the historical and religious backgrounds for jinn, the areas and times they were prevelant, and the 1800’s french men who gave us the word genie and the weird orientalist twist to jinn that came with it. I have a LOT more notes around her redesign than I do other characters because I really wanted to do it right.

Sorry I've been gone for so long!! I did some work on a local student film and spent some time on personal projects. (I'll post a link to the film when it's released!!)

Anyway, I played chapters 3 & 4 when they dropped and have been in a Deltarune mood ever since, so, have some quick A-poses of Kris and Ralsei in my art style ✌✌

So youtuber MoonlightJewel has a series where she makes dolls based on Sanrio characters and I find the idea super fun, so, I decided to use her Nova doll as a base and come up with one of my own for fun!!
