Goals for the Year 2025-2026

get started and then be done with the work credits: choose where to do it, do it.

go up in GamifyRoutine LVLs: 10, 20, 30, 40. go up in GamifyRoutine study LVLs: 10, 20, 30, 40.

move objective of focus hours from 3 to 4.

finish a game fully for once: Vampire Therapist.

finish books: Dracula + 365 days to become more cultured

don’t make other people’s decisions for them. apply for the job you don’t think you’ll get. let them decide if you have the skills they’re looking for. tell that person you like them even though you think they’re out of your league. let them decide if they like you. stop trying to predict and control everything. bring what you have to the table. let the rest go.

Alright so that goes my year! I might be failing one or maybe two subjects, but given how last year went, it counts as a win in my book.

Now I gotta prepare for the september exams + look for work practice thingies.

i can not and i mean i can not stress this enough… make a bibliography as you do your research. i mean, make a fully formed, correctly cited bibliography as you work. just do it. i know i know you’re being lazy or you hate making citations or you’ll just get to it later or you don’t want to get distracted etc etc etc

whatever your reasons just make the fuckin bibliography

and while im at it… put the footnotes in properly as you are writing. just… do it. for future you. please. for your sanity. do it.

I keep a separate document with my bibliography in flux as I add things in and take things out as needed. It’s mostly correctly written but will need cleaning up before it’s final form

With citations I don’t put them all in as I go, but I mark them

For my shorter assignments I’ve just been putting an asterisk wherever I need a citation. But for my research project I plan to assign a symbol to each item in my bibliography so I can drop in the correct symbol and then later go back and plug in the correct citation

One way to get tasks done in the day is to make yourself a Chekhov's List. Put all of the things you have to do on a list, and now that they've been revealed they'll need to be completed by the afternoon (third act) and when you've completed something you can Chekov that task from the list

Clearly we're all very busy, so let's motivate each other to get through April with a productivity challenge! Here's how it'll work:

Make a tumblr post listing all your goals for April, like this. It can also include a little introduction about yourself.

Use the tag "april days of productivity" for every post.

Starting on April 1st, do one small thing everyday that brings you closer to achieving your goals. You can post about it everyday, or every few days.

Once you've achieved a goal, update the tumblr post from step 1! You can strike through your goal, or anything else to show you're done with it!

free minimalist study tracker on google sheets

main features:

(1) overview sheet - tracks the progress of all subjects via a bar graph + overall progress. you could probably mod this for a pie chart graph instead of a bar graph. formatting is up to you. hex code friendly

(2) topics sheet - masterlist of all topics to study. includes 5 checkbox columns for lecture, notes, practice, test, and recall. includes a weak points column + scheduled review and last reviewed for easy sorting/filtering.

conditional formatting of rows dependent on the % progress of the column + another conditional formatting highlighting any rows that are marked have scheduled review =today()

note: if you're gonna be adding subjects in the set up sheet, set up inbetween the rows instead of the start/end cause sometimes it doesn't pick up on the dependent formulas/conditional formatting. same goes for the topics sheet. also try not to copy paste, as much as possible copy then paste special > values only (ctrl+alt+v) so it doesn't fuck up the conditional formatting.

formulas are pretty easy to understand and are straightforward. feel free to customize/comment on stuff i should add/ improve/ whatever. also dw i'm not doxxing myself that's a spare google account with a pseudonym
