Hiya 👋

My name is Rachel (she/her/hers) and in the year 2010 when I was in high school, I created this tumblr:

At the time my main fandoms were Disney, Bones, One Direction, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, DC comics, and all other types of media I consumed in high school. Here is me showing off my love of boybands during my Sweet Sixteen photoshoot.

Present day, I still go by Rachel and the same pronouns. My interests are similiar with a bit more 90's/2000's teen drama and nostalgia thrown in there. I have a doctorate degree in Leadership for Organizations, but you do not need to call me Dr. Rachel (unless you are into that kinda thing). I am married to @gumbohotdish who I met at the local library where I worked many years ago. I do research for Once Upon A Coaster Podcast. This is what I look like now:

huge fan of the depth of a good purple but another area that draws me is definitely around aquamarine/turquoise/seafoam. you can not go wrong once the green starts getting just a tinge more blue. a gal could certainly do worse than to pull over there and stay a while

i’ve said it before but i wish vaginas didn’t cost money

you literally can not have a vagina without paying for it. vaginoplasty for some, period products for others, if you want to stop buying period products that’s gonna be expensive medicine or an expensive procedure, recovery from surgery requires time off work and vaginoplasty specifically requires money spent on dilators. our bodies shouldnt cost us this much on baseline. having a vagina shouldnt have such a hefty tax on it. it makes me feel like i’m in a fictional dystopia written for middle school classrooms when i think about it.
