the development waahhh waaaaaahhhh 🥺🥺🥺 and like. to be honest i don’t think this is reflective of firefly’s own character growth, but rather silver wolf’s understanding of firefly. i see it like this:
silver wolf started off in a place of pity like, “holy shit, your life absolutely fucking sucks. no one wants to suffer like that!” and this evolved into something like concern, like we see in penacony. she was worried abt firefly’s “3 deaths” so she scoped out info and hired sparkle to try and mitigate them. and she’s the one most anxious when we see firefly in bad condition in that one myriad celestia from right before 3.7
but now?? silver wolf understands that firefly is more than the war she endured, more than the disease that will slowly kill her. firefly is determined to live her life the way she wants, no matter how short it is, no matter how much it hurts. she is the furthest thing from resigned. and silver wolf now acknowledges it— firefly has reclaimed her life from the glamoth iron cavalry and she now “moves according to her own will”!
Is there a way to not count a certain fandom as a crossover? I’m probably explaining this badly, so have an example: Say I’m looking for an Arcane crossover. I select ‘show only crossovers,’ and I get a bunch of fics tagged as Arcane/League of Legends. Cool, but I’m looking for more out-there crossovers. If I exclude the LoL tag, I get a few fics that I’m looking for, but I also lose a bunch of fics tagged as Arcane/LoL/a third fandom. Is there an easy way to search for those 3 fandom fics?
hi! I'm so sorry it took me so long to figure out the answer. I think I was making it more complicated than you intended in your ask.
The easiest way to do this is to start in one tag, for example tap on the Arcane: League of Legends (Cartoon 2021) tag and then open the filters and Include League of Legends (Video Game).
The Include filters require whatever tag(s) you're including to be tagged on the fic. So that means that you're already looking at fics tagged with Arcane and now you're requiring them also to be tagged with LoL.
When you then select for Show only crossovers, you end up with 388 Results that contain both of those fandoms plus additional fandoms.
I tested this out by also visiting the Vi (League of Legends) character tag and using the Include filters to include both Arcane and LoL and after selecting Show only crossovers, I ended up with 192 Results.
If you want to narrow it down to works that just have 3 fandoms in the crossover, try the user script AO3 crossover saviour. It allows you to set the maximum number of fandoms you want to see tagged on a fic. (it doesn't matter if those fandoms are subfandoms or not because it's just based on the number of tags)
There's also the AO3 True Crossover Filter if your fandom(s) have the issue of subfandoms that don't get counted as separate from the main fandom - they just get counted as synonyms.
If it is more complicated, please do come back to me. And if anyone else has a better or different way of doing this, feel free to share in the notes!

Long story short I wanted a way to get both fics tagged as Arcane/3rd fandom AND fics tagged as LoL/Arcane/3rd fandom, but NOT any fics tagged as LoL/Arcane. Previously I just did two separate searches, one including LoL and one excluding it.

Ok that's a little odd, we were just talking to March and Himeko about being overwhelmed and now we're casually talking to Yao about beating up Oroboros THEMSELF like its no big deal. Stelle sure does wear that mask well around people who aren't the Express. That or it's bad writing, but I choose to make myself happy.
The little impromptu Express Family party was a good interlude. March putting on her Luocha hat again and joining the detective is a great choice too. Also I swear every time the Tavern gets brought up I keep wondering if Vita will finally show up. Star Traveler did confirm in that one world quest in 4.2 that she's still on Planarcadia, after all. Plus, Ruan Mei's line in the trailer does imply that Ashveil is onto something by investigating it.

Yeah... I did predict that the Weathering curse functioned similarly to Entropy Loss Syndrome, and I think this confirmed it. Firefly betrayed the Glamoth Queen and lived on alone (against the Propagation), while Graphia preserved life (against the Destruction). And with the reveal of the third way of killing an Aeon being making them betray their own path... Huh.
Mortenax Blade can aura farm a little. As a treat. Graphia boss fight was a little underwhelming, but that's just the Remembrance team being strong as usual.

and then anomaly arbitration kicked my ass. full E0 Archer team was unable to clear knight 2, which left my Remembrance team dealing with way worse debuffs compared to if they went knight 3. really should have gotten Nescia huh... at least with my guaranteed E0S1 Cyrene in a few weeks I'm confident I can upgrade to a 6 star clear for all knights.
