nearly beefy taste explosion — Willmack AU for lovers of summer romance and cosy fantasy! Also some minor childish hijinks involving necromancy-adjacent magic. Plus a long slow thread of intergenerational trauma and what we can do, if we have support to do it. I love nearly beefy dearly. It almost wrote itself. Finished at 60,000 words.

a tall ship and a star to steer her by — Willmack AU for people who hate capitalism and like spaceships and thinking about human capacity for shared growth despite dark times. Also that Ryan Leonard spitting in Mack’s mouth would be sexy. tall ship is unfinished at 10,000 and combines being incredibly difficult to write with being emotionally draining but makes me excited just thinking about it.

family business — Samisa AU for people who think Toff begrudgingly sending his step kid on a blind date with his work’s new communications hire would be funny. I think family business is very very funny. Complete at 2300 words.

taming the unicorn — Samisa AU for. Well. For me, honestly. taming the unicorn is the story of Sam Dickinson finding an injured unicorn and taking him home to Toff and Cat. He names him Mike, a decision which is subject to critique. taming the unicorn is unfinished at 2600 words and often when I try to work on it I oscillate between making myself laugh aloud and feeling really sad for fictional Sam Dickinson and his unicorn.

forfeit — Samisa Winners Room Fantasy, for people who want to see Sam Dickinson have confused and sexy feelings about losing the Memorial Cup to Michael Misa. I think this shit is funny, I think it’s sexy, I think there’s good character work in it. I love this one. Very finished at 2700 words— I’m trying to write a follow up.

I’m gonna go ahead and suggest anyone who sees this do it. We all deserve to enjoy and celebrate and brag on ourselves, not just a little bit. Do it a lot.
