HI LET’S SHARE NICOLE’S WORDS ON THE SUBJECT!
It has been literal years but every time I see Martin’s tweets posted somewhere and his word is shared as truth while her post is not shared it sort of reiterates the fact that we trust men to speak about feminism more than we believe women who experience it.
Interesting, innit? https://medium.com/@nickyknacks/working-while-female-59a5de3ad266
Reading her account of how their boss treated her blows me away. Men are so emboldened that they will literally admit to illegal discrimination casually and face no consequences.
In all the years of seeing this post I’ve never seen a link to her side. Didn’t even know she’d written one.
Adding screenshots of her post. His whole post is there without needing a link. Hers should be, too.
Also, she posted this is 2017! It’s fucking 2020 and I’ve seen his side of this for years, but it took 3 years for her side to make its way to my dash…
First time seeing her side!!! In Years!!!
Happy Piccolo Day!!

Unpopular opinion
“Skyrim runs on everything” meme is just a shitty knockoff of “Doom runs on everything”. But less funny because people DO genuinely actually get Doom running on toasters and ATMs in real life.
All those pictures are 100% real and unedited.
Here are some more of my favorites:
And of course, playing Doom inside of Doom
“Skyrim is being ported to X” is funny because the implication that Bethesda is trying to squeeze blood from a stone by somehow convincing you you should buy it a 20th time on a ridiculous device
“Hey I got X to run Doom!” is funny because it’s just how computer science majors be and they actually fucking did it, y’all.

Aight funny story. So I used to be into Doom a lot. So one day I thought hey the brain is basically a complex computer can it run Doom. So I spent a while memorizing the entire first level of the original doom. So after that I went to bed and it worked. I had a dream where it was Doom on an old box tv it played through the first level then it switched to something else I don’t remeber. So the question has been answered can you port doom to the brain yes you can.
What the heck even happened to the dash on Tumblr? First things it’s showing are, like, recommending me other users to follow, and posts from people I already follow from years ago. I have to scroll to start seeing current posts from the people I follow. Who thought this was a good idea?
I don’t know when it started, but the mobile app has been doing this for at least a few years. I started noticing that it happened a lot more once people started to post a lot less on here. I kind of wonder if its intention is to give users something to look at if their dashboard hasn’t had much activity for a while. But if it’s getting in the way of users’ ability to see actual new posts, then that doesn’t make much sense to me.
I’m not sure if you’re talking about desktop or mobile, but I did notice that the behaviour of the desktop dashboard changed recently, and also started to include this particular behaviour.
In addition to that, it seems they initially removed pagination entirely, which kind of annoyed me because I don’t really like infinite scroll on Tumblr. Then they added pagination back, but now instead of ten posts per page, it seems to be some random number. Like, sometimes there will be four posts per page, and sometimes there will be seven, and there doesn’t seem to be any reason for it. The inconsistency kind of makes me wonder if some posts are missing.
I don’t know. I don’t know what’s going on over here anymore lol.
Thanks for replying! I haven’t been on here much for quite a while, aside from talking and gushing about Castlevania lol. So I’m really out of the loop on what’s been going on on Tumblr. I only use social media on desktop. Even though I’ve had my smartphone for over a year now, I still don’t really like using social media on mobile, or via apps.
When you’re talking about pagination, do you mean on the dash? Or on users’ individual blogs when you go to their specific URL?
Jessie Rasberry is horny on main.
I heard about her crush on Cloud from my friend who’s got the game. Maybe it’s weird to say, but I liked seeing those screencaps of her asking Cloud over, because it shows actual romantic/sexual agency and expressiveness by a character (and a woman in particular). Her enthusiastic interest/desire was...appealing?...I guess is the word I’m looking for.

“You must never give in to despair. Allow yourself to slip down that road and you surrender to your lowest instincts. In the darkest times, hope is something you give yourself. That is the meaning of inner strength.”
Kill La Kill Episode 3 (2013) Trigger
There are all sorts of ways to create a memorable entrance for a character, but to keep a motif that can cue the audience in to the presence of the character without getting a direct look at them is another. Sometimes this is done musically by giving the character a recurring theme.
In Kill La Kill, Satsuki is assosiated with Bright Light, giving her a visual cue that has been associated with power throughout cinema and TV history and is accentuated by her uniform and her posture.
I’m infinitely tickled that in medieval eastern Europe where the hordes of Dracula are roaming the countryside, there’s this one fuckin’ guy who thought it was a good idea to drag a whole ass sailboat onto dry land, mount it on wheels, and pull it behind horses terrorizing the countryside.
The best part is, you see Trevor mention him and you’re like, “LOL what the fuck?” but THEN you see Saint Germain mention him later on. And they’re both so annoyed and exasperated at this dude. Like, he’s a known entity. And you get the sense that he’s this obnoxious yet relatively harmless guy who just goes around making life difficult for people in the most annoying ways.
I WANT TO SEE THE PIRATE OF THE ROADS. SHOW HIM TO ME YOU COWARDS.
Hopefully, the pirate really turns out to be Grant Danasty, and he joins Trevor and Sypha in their next chapter.
I was talking with a friend who’s more familiar with the Castlevania games than I am (I’ve only played a little bit of Symphony of the Night and even less of Aria of Sorrow), and he said basically the same thing, mentioning that Grant is a pirate. That’d be a really fun way to introduce the character.
When they open the portal to hell at the end of season 3 and we see Dracula holding Lisa, part of me wanted him to use it, come back to Earth, and kill the demons and the priory monks so he could be left alone with Lisa
But also, why is Lisa in hell????
Yea, why is she in hell?! Is it for sleeping with Dracula? How does the afterlife even work?
I saw someone else mention that maybe it was an illusion to torment Dracula, since he’s in hell and all. But being with Lisa is what he wanted, I don’t get how that would be tormenting him????
No one:
Prior Sala's face:
Bill Nighy as Count Saint Germain
“Show me what I want to see, you fucking bastard!” “He really is a magician!”
Where did Dracula even get all this old, forgotten/lost knowledge to have a magic, teleporting castle that’s so far beyond current tech. What ancient civilization discovered TELEPORTATION and kept it to themselves????
