Okay but, why is season three so disappointing?? Sweeneys death was literally only one part of it! They took jinn away without any reason at all and I guess that's just the end of Salim too? Freak, Anansi's anger made him perfect! Like, a trickster God doesn't just make flower crowns and hold hands, he "gets s**t done"...they built up Laura and Sweeney (maybe a tad more one sided) and then just ripped that away as well! Why is our gorgeous goddess in a prison cell?! I know she tried to fight but we know our queen wouldn't just let someone take her! Odin turning into a 60s hippie was kind of weak, like yeah i understand being incognito or whatever, but part of Odins charm was always his sense of power and class, but nope! Theres no "coming to America" scenes, whyyyyy???? It was sooooo interesting to see, why were they deemed so unimportant?! I read that they switched showrunners and I understand that reasonably the show will change...but I dont think the director understood what made the show so mesmerizing. These characters just radiated power and now half of our badasses are just gone! I couldn't stop watching one and two, now I have to force myself to watch three. Respect to everyone who watches the show and likes how it turned out, I just wanted to vent 😔

Summary: Lance falls ill while accompanying Keith on a business trip, but Keith is too busy to take notice.

“Do you want the window seat or the middle one?”

“Middle,” Keith answers without hesitation. “It’s closer to the aisle.”

“Okay.” Sniffling, Lance lifts his suitcase up and slides it into the storage compartments overhead, his arms shaking slightly from the effort. Then he slides into the seat next to the window, wiping his nose on the back of his hand.

Keith slips into the seat next to him. He has a meeting and an important speech to deliver in a different city, and the plane flight has already been delayed.

Biting his lip, he opens up his laptop and starts polishing the slides for his presentation. It’s a good thing he doesn’t get airsick. Excluding takeoff and landing, he’ll have a full four hours to work on this.

Lance shifts beside him, and Keith glances over at him for a moment. It was Lance’s idea to accompany him on this business trip, and despite himself, Keith is really grateful for his offer. He hates traveling alone.

“Thanks for coming with me,” he says.

He watches his boyfriend’s lips press into a smile, small but sweet. “Anytime.”

Lances Family Tree

Okay, so hear me out for a moment. A good number of us have probably seen Moana right? Well, in the movie Moana is the daughter of a Polynesian Chief. Her people are forbidden to leave their island but at the end, they all go out on boats to explore. In the movie, Moana express her love for the ocean and how, no matter how hard she fights it, she’s always drawn to it. So imagine her and her people traveling everywhere. They eventually make their way to a large island; i. e. Colombian, Venezuelan area. They explore for a distance and eventually find the other side. From there they find their way to Cuba. Now, by this time, Moana has aged a decade or so and is the chieftain. She meets this attractive Cuban dude, they fall in love, yada yada. Generations pass and their children still live in Cuba. Until they send one of their sons to a space training school called the Garrison. We all know what happens to said son. And when you think about it, its like the Ocean has chosen Moana again because the blue lion is the guardian of water, and she choose Lance. Moanas grandmother loved the ocean, as did Moanas father, and Moana herself. So its almost like its biological right? So I’ve always pictured Lance basically growing up on the beach, along with all his family. They all love the water and cant stand to be away from it for too long. And its actually kind of sad when you think about it. Moana couldn’t stand to be away from the Ocean for more than a few days, but imagine how Lance feels. He’s so far from the ocean and though they might swim in other oceans on other planets, deep down they don’t compare. Because they’re not the Ocean his family has been connected to for centuries. Maybe thats why his homesickness is so bad. Theres a part of him missing.
