Fidget had been tracking Ahrah for days. It felt like her wings were about to fall off but she needed to figure out what in Falana’s name what Ahrah was doing. Helped she was not so secretly hoping the blade’s survival meant Dust was going to be resurrected eventually. Her tracking eventually lead her to the outskirts of Zeplich village, to a secluded clearing…

And found Dust. Just standing there, as if he hadn’t been burned to death by lava.

“Dust!?” The nimbat cried out, flitting over just in time to see Ahrah fly over to Dust themselves, though she was a bit too distracted with her resurrected friend to chew out the blade for flying off like it had.

“Oh please please tell me you remember me! Dealing with your amnesia once was bad enough!”

Dust’s ears twitched when he heard a familiar voice called out to him, and he looked in the direction of the voice; despite the pain that was still going on.... He was quite surprise to see a sword spinning towards him, however he didn’t feel scared since the blade was recognizable.

Then that’s when it finally dawned on him why he felt awful and as if everything had slammed into him....  The fight at Everdawn volcano.... Against General Gaius... The explosion... Being injured... His words to Fidget... Then finally, the lava that swallowed him and turning his world turn black.

“Well.... Who could forget your voice, Fidget? After all, it’s not very easy to forget a voice like yours.” He replied eventually, as the voice sounded rough and croaky.

A small groan left him as everything ached, and it felt like his mind was swimming.... He tried opening his eyes, but the light was too painful that he had quickly closed them to stop the pain however after a few moments had pass; he tried opening them again although this time around much more slowly so that he could get adjusted to the light.

He blinked a few times; trying to figure out where he was..... It felt very familiar, but his mind was just not working with him.... Actually, what exactly happened for him to feel so.... Awful?

“Ugh.... What....” He mumbled to himself whilst slowly getting up from the ground.

Thinking how strong Dust would be in the Sonic Verse... And I feel like he would be on the same level as Shadow in terms of combat... But Shadow would be stronger from the simple fact; he can use Chaos Energy, whilst Dust can’t.

Uh, excuse you, you’re talking to the king of sarcasm here. Who says he didn’t detect it and decided to respond like that just because he wanted to mess around? Who says it wasn’t a sarcastic response itself, lost by the guy in front of him? 

“Oh, I doubt that, pal. Look at the way you are dressed. That obviously screams main character from a show or game, whatever. Some kinda samurai-warrior or somethin’, people would love that show. Bonus points if there is a lot of angst involved.”

The amount of time people commented on his outfit was...... Actually really low compared to people commenting on his hat which hide his face very well, however regardless there was a small laugh when the other said he was some kind of samurai-warrior.

“Well.... If a show gets popular if there are a lot of angsts involved, then no doubt the show I would be starring in would be very popular.... And you’re a bit close with me being a warrior of some kind.”

It seems like the robot saw no problem in what he just said, or that it appeared to have upset the warrior. It was just some friendly advice, nothing more. It wasn’t everyday you come across a creature with an oversized hat and a talking sword. Something was strange about that guy but XR didn’t exactly care about that.

“I dunno. It seemed appropriate for the moment. Like I said, people like a show.”

Well, it was clear that the other couldn't detect sarcasm when it was literally staring in his face. Regardless, it was not every day one see an unusual sight and  get into a conversation with a being that was completely made out of metal.

“Unless the show is boring, then you find that people will hate it.”

I can already think of a few people who would cheer for me to get beheaded.” Dust mumbled as he looked at the robot with an unimpressed look on his face, but at the same time... He knew he was right in a certain way; people could easily turn depending on the situation, especially if they knew what he was.
