This response actually brings up some good points and One wanted to just add to this. As an angel who's vessel's family has no access to gyms or equipment for exercise until very, very recently...

Calisthenics is a great way to start. They're quiet, can be done in small spaces, and most exercises need no equipment. Even getting up and doing a short plank or a short one set of incline press ups or a chair hang or two bajillion squats while watching videos in the pitch black can help build plenty of stamina for those angels looking for the strength build for their pretty wings.

Lots of resources on YouTube for small space, quiet calisthenics.

For the longest time, One only did exercises in its bed. I have a weak vessel after all. But even doing 20 or so crunches or sit-ups.. it's still a little movement.

Ring fit is definitely a noisemaker, but it is also very motivating. They have options in game for less noisy options (not running, but doing little bounces instead, etc) to lighten the noise output if any angel wants to give it a try. If you have a soft exercise mat, it'll dampen the noises too. One got them very cheap for a small pack. That plus some cheap wireless earbuds to hear the game noises without disturbing anyone, it works decently well.

Ring fit also has a mode where you can use the ring on sleep mode while doing other things and it'll count your presses and give you exp. Give that ring a squish with your thighs, your hands, above your head, behind back.. it's a good idle exercise while watching TV .

Also.. it feels less like a workout. But.. yoga. Yoga on the floor. Yoga on the bed. Did yoga on a pontoon at a marina once. Biiiiiiig stretches. Stretch them wings out. Build your core a little bit with bodyweight exercises and yoga. Nice and quiet, gentle on ye olden divine joints if you do the beginner moves. And it feels very nice. Your back needs to be stretchy and healthy if it wants to carry your wings with confidence. And being bendy is helpful .

Going for a walk is also exercise. Going to the store is exercise. Walking up and down your stairs for a bit is exercise. Walking around in circles in your room for awhile is weird and awkward but it is definitely exercise. Chasing your cat around the room going ”give me back my sausage roll!!” is exercise.

While these may not feel like it's intensive, or the same feeling you get from heading to a gym and using cool machines, any exercise is good. And if any angel ever wants some advice from an angel who knows what it's like to have no access to space, good food, water and a lot of chronic pain, One's inbox and DMs will be here. Oh the need to have a human devote to me.. just a precious winged angel wanting someone to solely devote their beautiful little soul to me, to care for me and my pretty wings.. the need to love another soul and protect them from the evils I can ..

The need to put little messages into a humans inbox reminding them of love and light and hold someone with my wings. The need for one to message another every morning with 'good morning, sweet'.. to know theyll reply, as a devotee to their angel.

One day I'll find someone to protect. Someone to truly devote to my angelic light 🙏

We know it’s a bit of a drag dealing with these squishy, high-maintenance vessels. Eating? Sleeping? Showering? Yes, it’s all very mortal and inconvenient. Here’s your “Vessel Maintenance Checklist”:

Fuel it properly! Eat some actual food—yes pizza rolls count but throw in a vegetable or two occasionally.

Hydrate. Your body right now is mostly made up of water. You need to replenish your reserves once in a while.

Sleep! At least 6-9 hours. Powering through is not a long-term solution, my friend.

Showering and grooming. A clean vessel is a happy vessel. Your mortal friends will thank you.

Stretch and move. A little walk won’t kill you!

Remember: Treat your vessel with kindness, or it can start feeling bad. You’ve been warned.

I need to make something clear

(PSA about my identity as an angel)

Things I am NOT:

-associated with any religion, especially not abrahamic religion (no shade it’s just, not me)

-in service to any God that humans can/have put a name to

-from any specific “heaven”

-a “traditional” angel in appearance (most of the time)

Things I AM:

-a strong, non-human being that believes in and draws power from nature and the energy of the universe

-a protector of the things I love and the values I hold

-fluid in form, although I frequently choose to look angelic in some ways (I like having wings but I don’t usually have any kind of halo.)

I’ve seen a lot of other angels that do associate themselves with traditional, religious angels, and i consider it an important part of my identity that I am my own version of one! Angelkin is the closest term I’ve found to describing what I feel that I am, but most angels are different!

I’d love to see other non-religious angels sound off! ☺️
