Why Ppl Dismiss Manifestation: a rant.
"Manifest, but also do the fucking work." <- Who's heard this before?
Phrases like these come from a specific yet POPULAR group of people who use the term "Manifest" as a social media buzzword. Manifest, but also pray, Religious people say.q Manifest, but also work, influencers say. Manifest, but also invest and join my course, some scammers say. To them, manifest means make a wish. Make a wish, but chase that wish. Make a wish, but do follow up actions. Ask god, but don't depend on an all powerful god to help you, do it yourself after you ask! Don't just manifest, get out there and do it. Make a wish, but also take it into your own account to make sure every star aligns correctly so it comes true. You're basically asking ordering a cake and then pushing the staff aside to bake it yourself. Manifestation to the mainstream media is a wish. A mere idea or desire. People might even say: "I claim" on a video of someone doing good, wishing it will happen to them, while they do no mental diet or know what actual manifestation is. Then it doesn't happen. "manifesting good grades" to these people can basically be just wishing you had good grades and some stereotypes would be those very people making memes where there are candles all around them with a caption "manifesting." They don't understand it, they don't think it's real in our sense, but rather luck or a wish. If it happens, you manifested it. If it didn't, well... You're supposed to manifest and DO something, not just manifest!
It's no wonder why people like me brushed it off as a scam. You're telling me I can make anything I want happen... I become interested, and then you tell me to do the work.
So if I wanna manifest being rich, now I have to suddenly have the connections I didn't have previously? Where does the manifestation come in if I'm physically working or trying to change my reality manually.
If I have to manually engineer everything myself, what's the purpose of manifestation when it sits on the bench and watches me do everything and struggle? Is that not just what humans do all the time? We didn't come to manifestation to be told to do the same thing we've been doing all along. We failed that so we manifest now. How's that manifestation if we do everything? Fuck that.
People resort to manifestation because it proves again and again that you don't have to have anything to your name or lift a finger and you will STILL get what you want because of your mindset and identity alone.
I truly hate that Manifestation is a buzzword for this "It Girl" aesthetic if it means it can contradict manifestation. I hate that Manifestation is a popular buzzword for marketing to "be relatable." I hate that Manifestation is a buzzword that is taken as seriously as the word "Delulu" is. Which is not. Those two words are not taken seriously, they are SLOGANS to the mainstream world. Slogans popular enough for brands and "It Girl" influencers and "Winter Arc" influencers to pick up on to only motivate people!!!! They aren't talking about real manifestation, so don't feel behind! Manifestation is a buzzword to the mainstream world. I recommend "Law of Assumption" or "non dualism" or "conscious creation" as key words to search to find the REAL DEAL being hidden under the mainstream clout chasing posts alone.
So if you come across enough of this, I understand why you think manifestation is a scam too. Been there, done that, blamed it on law of attraction.
sorry I had to whack law of attraction again, I actually hate what it's taught ppl. I crave law of attraction endings.
Ok guudnite. You don't gotta lift a finger. Majority of my manifestations came from me affirming in my head and rotting in bed with depression. Leave mainstream "manifestation" alone for the sake of your self concept.
