The first time Regulus kissed James they were rudely interrupted, by an annoying beeping sound.

Regulus did try to ignore the sound but he had to stop when James suddenly took his hands from Regulus’s waist and hid them behind his back.

“James what’s happening” Regulus looked behind James’s broad shoulders.

“Nothing” James answered shaking his head accompanied with the same annoying beeping sound.

Regulus raised his eyebrow and with one swift motion grabbed James’s arm. James looked at him defeated and quickly put his hand in front.

“It’s my watch, okay?” he answered looking a little embarrassed, “the sound is to let me know when my heart rate is too elevated when I work out” he continued red creeping up his cheeks.

“The heart rate..” Regulus mumbled while examining the watch on James’s wrist, playful smirk appearing in the place of his pursed lips full of confusion.

He quickly pecked James’s lips, slowly moved from his lips to his jaw, while glancing at the watch on his wrist start with the sound of beeping again.

Look of embarrassment, torture and excessive blushing were covering James’s face when Regulus looked at him and giggled. His giggle turned into a full blown, head thrown, beautiful laugh as the sound of the beeping from the watch became so loud and so quick it could surely be heard from down the hall.

James, his watch and his heartbeat were in serious trouble surrounded by the most beautiful sounds of Reggie’s laugh.

🦌James Potter Headcanons living in my head rent-free🦌

• He's a horse boy. He knows how to ride and just loves these big warm soft creatures. He's gorgeous at calming them down, easing them and loves to take his partner on a ride.

• Super soft hair and so fluffy

• Secretly loves Elvis and listens to his songs when cooking, showering, and cleaning. (He does the hip swing insanely good)

• Can't cook for his life, it's borderline dangerous to have him in the kitchen

• Instead, he's great at baking. It doesn't always look good, but it tastes heavenly!

• Athletic show off, he'll walk on his hands and do insane tricks on his broom just to impress his friends or love interest.

• James Potter against toxic masculinity!

• He'll have Marls paint his nails, occasionally wears lip gloss and owns 2 skirts.

• Gets sick on boats.

• Is the mom friend of the group: Always hair ties around his wrist for Sirius and the girls, making sure everyone has had enough water, will listen to you if call him sobbing at 3am over a TV show.

• Forgets to look after himself sometimes, would go out of his own way to make other people happy.

• Suffers physically when his friends fight or one of them isn't feeling well.

• Don't tell him any secrets. He won't tell anyone but Sirius but if Sirius knows, everybody knows.

• is an early bird,always up at 7 the latest and buzzing with energy the moment he opens his eyes.

• Terribly clumsy when nervous. Drops everything, bumps into walls and apologizes.

•Always loses his glasses and without them he's basically blind.

More Jegulus/Starchaser Headcanons

• Reggie's animagus is the little Black cat but when transformed, he offen gets the ✨️zoomies✨️ (James teases him with toys or a laser beaming from his wand).

•Reggie is a fast walker.

• James is a hot tea kinda person, Reggie is a coffee person (just like Sirius)

• While James is often warm and walks around shirtless, Reggie is always cold and will use James as his personal heat radiator. Shoving his cold fingers up his sleeves or under his shirt. James notices when he's cold and will hug him tight, wrapping him in blankets.

• Low blood pressure Reggie. He gets dizzy easily.

• James has a thing for technical whimsical handicraft, esp. with wood. He'll build tiny book nooks, filigree figurines, beautifully painted. In their house, he'll have a little workshop and Reggie loves to watch him work.

• Reggie likes to play piano but instead of the classical music he had to learn back at hid family, he now adapts film music or modern interpretations of songs he likes, medleys, etc.

• James only knows how to play the triangle.

•Extravert James loves to socialize, go out,meet people and feel the buzz of life around him.

• Reggie is an introvert, he recharges best around James without talking. Just snug as a bug on the sofa.

• James loves to watch sitcoms and is fully engaged ("No, Reg, see. It's Rachel who asked him first, so technically..."). Reggie I all about true crime and James gets nightmares from the podcasts he listens to.

• Reggie's comfort food is something simple and savory, something he'd rarely get on the Black Household (I'm thinking of beans on toast...)

•Reggie is the gifted burnt out art child really...

• Reggie knows how to convince James: He calls him Jamie, sad puppy eyes, then a dramatic sigh. James knows what he's doing but it works...
