The ending of Mash is like "The protagonist just had a mental break after years of repeated exposure to the worst of humanity. The man he loves is going home to his perfect suburban family, leaving him alone and adrift. It's unlikely he'll ever fully recover from what he's been through. The fan favourite side character recieved a traumatic head injury, he's going home permanently deaf and none of the other characters know because he hid the information from them. People might be going home but the war isn't over, it's never over, war will never be over as long as there are humans on earth to wage it. We'll see you all next year for the worst spinoff to ever air on television."

Re reading the original hunger games is so funny bcus katniss can literally read haymitch's mind like what. I'm dying of thirst but haymitch hasn't sent me water, that must mean that there's some nearby!! And one kiss is one pot of broth!! Like she even acknowledges that it's strange when she's like oh to peeta this would just be a pot of broth. Haymitch will give her one look and katniss knows immediately what he means and she's right every time

I cannot believe I haven't ever posted about this movie it's the perfect intersection of all the things I love:

-kristen wiig

-truly ludicrous stakes

-TALKING CLUB

-musical numbers for no reason

-inexplicable cameos

-beige, basic-ass middle aged women having the time of their life

-kidnapping

-kristen wiig playing TWO characters who never meet until the last 5 minutes of the movie but look exactly like each other, obviously, and are both involved with jamie dornan who never points out how uncannily alike they look

-gay and lesbian couples as extras who are SUCH bad actors that you're like "wow this is embarrassing, do the producers even know any gay people" but then barb and star are in a threesome with jamie dornan and it's not a big deal

-the costumes are off the wall fun, the lighting is bright and the sets are colorful

-feels very wholesome and goofy while also having extremely explicit jokes

-jamie dornan playing the saddest most romantic meow meow you've ever seen
