SPOILER WARNING Episode 102 of the Mighty Nein "What Will you Be" Sequence F. Directed by Mari Yang, and Supervision by Juno Lee! This is one of my first storyboards I did on Season 1 when I started. This is the last version I turned in before Revisions. I'm very fond of these sequences, they were challenging at first because we had so much to figure out and learn, and first season growing pains. Shout out to our storyboard team again! I loved doing that Beau scene, you know the one!

Bit of BTS: Sometimes we had to figure out the way magic worked visually in these early stages in unique ways for the characters, to give our design team a starting point. Sometimes we'd be briefed on ideas too from our leads, and they'd have those ideas for us in a rough form too, which was super helpful! And we were given lots of room to pitch visuals based on ideas from the script, so we'd have back and forth meetings about these early on. Thankfully the version we came up with inspired what you see on the show. The model sheets were not locked in at this time, so I can see the evolution of my drawings as the season went on. So grateful to have been given the opportunity to participate on this show. I loved working with this team.

I feel incredibly lucky to be BOTH Lead Character Designer AND Layout Supervisor. Not only do I work pre-production along side my amazing character team to design a deeply varied and culturally rich world of folks, but also post-production with our wonderful retakes animation team to ensure the character style and emotional accuracy is pushed to their limits. 

l've really fallen in love with the show and can’t wait for everyone to see everything we’ve planned for this band of misfits.

The Ghost in The Shell: Stand Alone Complex has had me on a choke hold for many years. idk if I have ever stopped making fan art of it every year lol. It has been particularly in my mind lately because Idk, I think drawing Major Kusanagi is fun as heck. But I don’t normally draw Batou, even though I like his character a lot as well. Dude is her true homie for life. I also think Togusa is a good third place there too.

Vic Viper and Leo Stenbuck rough animation.

Call this one a small goal of mine to attempt to animate the Vic Viper for the first time. I animated this on my I-pad Air using the Rough Animator App. This piece is inspired from the Leo boss battle on Mars. One of the most fun in the game.

I recently replayed and completed the Zone of the Enders 2nd Runner: MARS on hard mode, so the game has been in my mind a lot this past week.
