I wish Jason Grace had been more powerful while he was alive. Correct me if I’m wrong but every time he wanted even a single bolt of lightning he had to pray to his dad. And sometimes Zeus/Jupiter didn’t even listen. I want a Jason who could summon massive thunder storms on a whim. It would be so cool. I understand that this would make him too powerful plot wise but his dad is the king of the gods so surely Jason should be the most powerful demigod. Instead he passes out every other chapter and he basically has no divine powers. Nico can raise the dead and split the earth open without praying to Hades. Percy can summon tornadoes and tsunamis without even thinking about Poseidon. Please let Jason be more powerful (too late but oh well. At least there’s fanfics 😞) I know that some people say he’s boring and while I don’t agree with that, I think he would have been a bit more interesting if he actually measured up to Percy and Nico’s power but on a Zeus level.
