Love coming out as a trans man and trying to engage in my own fucking community and realizing it's not just TERFs and the alt right that fucking hates me, it's my own community. Seeing trans men talk about their issues to be called cunts, or fucking "whiny patriarchs". Or how about transandrocunt because how dare trans men talk about their issues? And how dare trans men mention how laws affect us? No the laws totally don't affect us, it's not like T is a controlled substance so there's been lists of us since the 90s. It's not like under UK law we're not allowed to use EITHER public restroom. Oh or how about how trans men are being detransitioned in prison specifically to "save our fertility", gee I wonder where that's gonna fucking lead. I fucking wonder why they want to do that, I totally am not worried about forced fucking pregnancy as a trans man.

Like damn this is why I'm scared to even buy a fucking binder let alone try to start any actual transition, aside from feeling I'm too old.

And then if you fucking complain about ANY of it, people tell you it's your fucking fault for "choosing to be a man" because men are trash and you're just a traitor if you become a man. All of this by the fucking LGBT community.

I'm used to being told this shit by TERFs and queerphobes. I came out as Not Straight in 2008. I've been struggling with figuring out my gender identity since probably 2010. Been gnc for the majority of my life before knowing that term or knowing what trans was, bullied as a kid for it. Explored gender identity terms for years, identified openly as genderfluid since maybe 2019, started exclusively using he/him last year and then came out as a trans man last September. And suddenly I can't even trust my own fucking community?

Like sorry, people that weren't even ALIVE when I first came out are fucking telling me I deserve to be treated like shit because I'm "choosing" to be a man?

Fuck this. Why should I fucking have to apologize for finally figuring out my identity? Why should I fucking apologize for being a trans man?

I'm just fucking sick of it.

i get why you say that, but the phenomenon of white feminism and white feminists are something we have to talk about. there are white women working in feminists sectors and women's movements that are focused on themselves and themselves only. there are white women SUCH AS TAYLOR SWIFT who have influence and claim to be all about women, then perpetuate standards of society that are harmful to black women and women of color.
