He’s absolutely my second favorite character, with shining personality and and really complex narrative that o didn’t expect at the start of the story- he took me by surprised 💛

I know he often wears blue Kholin but I always associate him with the color of gold and yellow like the sun , because of his beaming personality and the ability to brighten every room he walks into -

I made another version, with a little tiny spoiler from Oathbringer , because Maya deserves her spot light as well ✨🌱

What I find absolutely hilarious in stormlight fics (besides when they use storms as a substitute for fuck) is when Hoid is involved in encounters of a... sexual nature and they characterize him as this suave immortal with thousands upon thousands of years of experience.

But in canon, the dude doesn't even know what to do with his hands when Shallan so much as hugs him bc he literally hasn't had any form of physical affection in millennia!!

And I think this does a huge disservice to the character. Like, where the hell are all my touch starved Hoid fics out there!!!??

He's just a way bigger loser than you guys give him credit for, but that's a conversation for another day.

I love that Adolin is popular among women, but instead of being it in the stereotypical way of a nice gentleman and a seductive guy, he's famous because every woman he's ever met absolutely hates him after a while
