Anyone who knows me knows that my heart bends inside out for military couples and veteran couples. Despite the days that I wonder how Im going to get through them without kicking uhm something or taking an involuntary time out, Sometimes a quick text from someone after spending 2 1/2 hours on a zoom with them on a Saturday because you really want to help them makes it all worth it. They really did make my day! This stuff is why I get up in the morning. I have so much pain so much of the time these days but it’s the stuff that gets me up in the morning (well mid-morning :-) All I really want to feel like I’ve done with the rest of of this life is to make to make differences. Everyone wants to be able to make big differences in the world and have big wins! Yes, me too! I do too! But a series of small ones would be good too :-). Shortly after this couple got engaged, the bride was deployed for 10 months in the Middle East and then he was sent on deployment to Washington DC as soon as she returned so the entire wedding had to be postponed. Even they may have lost a little faith along the way but I never lost faith in the love these two have for each other for a second. Well, we are back at it again for May! Woohoo! I love when young people/ teens and gen z/millienials ask me for guidance, advice, or mentorship regarding their business or a particular topic. (and military interest gets me excited... & nervous :-)  If I know they are serious, I send them my calendar link and will give them my undivided attention for whatever they need.

SO, I Just had an amazing zoom meeting with my niece's Chloe Mitchell​ best friend who is 17 and about to go to Basic Training.  He reached out to me and wanted to learn the basics of INVESTING and more about the military.  I'm in no way an expert in investing but it has become a serious hobby over the last year, which I did explain.  But I gave him all the tips I've been able to gather over the last year that I've been studying, reading, taking courses,s and actually trading sometimes DAILY & hourly depending on the scenario.

There were people who selflessly did this for my son, Caleb Sessions​  (Trish Carr​ Nancy Matthews​ Dave Vanhoose​ Dustin Mathews​ Debbie Montis​ Susan Pilkenton​  Jeff Kane​ Jack Schulman​ ) when he was a teen and beyond which truly changed his life, so I will always give back in any way I can. I will always be grateful for these people in our life.

TIP #1.. My first tip for anyone starting out TRADING or short-term investing is until you really know what you are doing and feel super comfortable... is "DO NOT put in more money than you can afford to lose".  I was asked to do a book review on this SIMPLIFIED BEGINNER'S GUIDE to INVESTING last year and while we know the markets can certainly change at any minute, I'm thrilled to say that using all of the scientific strategies you can learn AND following the market and economic news by the minute sometimes, I'm an OVER 50% plus GAIN on the entire portfolio. (so now I'm getting nervous lol)

As a Wedding Planner @boldimpactweddingplanners, One of our new clients who we referred to ever after Farms ranch @everafterfarmsweddings (as we have several clients already) and I were chatting last night and commenting about the chances of them having their first child to be a redhead. Dan bought a tv sooooo big for our bedroom that we had to move the dresser over by a foot!!! Then he called it my Christmas Present even though I only needed a tv with Bluetooth capabilities so I can actually hear everything. Part of my va disability (amidst the 500 other issues) is my hearing. I’m not deaf, I have tinnitus and some hearing loss from all of the explosions I’ve been in or near, and just can’t break down and separate the noises from the talking so when there’s a lot of background noise in a show, I cannot understand what they’re saying. The @deptvetaffairs prescribed this device called TV ears that I have in the main room. But often times we had seven people living here. I went to them and asked them for another set 2 years later and they denied it and said I could only have one so basically I’ve been watching TV in my room and understanding half of (or guessing) what is being said LOL. Now, Dan is saying that it’s my Christmas present, is that fair???? DallasCowboys cheerleaders: making the team… One of my totally favorite shows! I just don’t think that eating Burger King while watching it is my best decision making. I did get a Junior and added my own low-fat cheese and ordered lots of extra veggies. Two months on Noom. And I’m counting calories every day. Growing up in Texas ever since I was little, always dreamt of being a Dallas cowboy cheerleader. I held them on a pedestal and today they are some of the most works class dancers anywhere. The problem was that My A$$ never fit into the shorts!. Even when I was in the army, I had to take the tape test because even though i had a lot of muscle, I was still overweight by their charts. When I was in Saudi Arabia, I thought up to where I can run 5 miles. Just not as fast as everyone else. I have struggled with my weight since I was born.
