Sometimes reading for the upcoming year or the future can be scary. I wanted to create a spread that felt like a letter sent from a best friend. A letter that would provide me with advice, keep it real and make the process of reading about the upcoming year much easier for me to wrap my head around without feeling scared, or anxious. This is how the New Year Letter Tarot Spread was created.
Step One: Shuffle your deck. Step Two: Stop when it feels right to you. Step Three: Pull one card for each card position. Step Four: Fill the letter out with a keyword or phrase that you associate with each card selected for each position.
Note: Keep in mind that all cards in the deck are dynamic. Each Tarot card has a myriad of meanings. There can be good in the Tower card and disaster within the Sun card. I encourage you to use what meanings resonate with you as well as look up meanings if you are unsure.
