fin; when the ghosts of our pasts finally call it quits.
i feel this tiredness
deep in my bones
like broken swings at night
they hum their own tune
a sick sad song indeed.

unfortunately you can't *make* any normal person magically understand your abuse or your trauma, it doesn't work like that, even if those people are your loved ones.
the only people who will ever really get what you went through are people that've suffered the same way you have, even if those people are complete strangers.
and here we are.

hypothermia.
What if I told you that I understand the reason why some people stop fighting halfway, and just give in, and be at a complete standstill..?
What if I told you that I know where these people are coming from, and what if I told you that I would’ve done the same thing??
Is giving up selfish? Is being too damn exhausted to fight the same thing over and over selfish? so when do we get to stop? When do we get to finally ..rest?

You know what? You're an individual, and that makes people nervous. And it's gonna keep making people nervous for the rest of your life.
