There's so much about this that is so evocative #I love how their expressions are so contrasting- one being solemn and kind of pained while the other is almost serene and even looks a #little satisfied? Which is intriguing?#And how everyone's eyes are closed which leaves the only 'open' eye being the one she is holding #And the tattoo(?) on her arm even mimics the rivulets of blood dripping down #Which I really love and I don't know the history of these characters or the story but I like how it almost feels like a recontextualization #of the marking shapes- not in a literal way but more symbolic. Like shifting a picture and you see they look similar and it feels purposefu #on like a thematic level.#Also the implications of their dynamic with the differing expressions but also the way the above person is holding her head as though #cradling it and their thumb is brushing their lower lip almost tenderly.#I ALSO JUST NOTICED the droplet of blood on her forehead almost like a symbolic 3rd eye 👀#And the way 3 hands are on her head while only one is raised. Idk but smth about that feels intentional and interesting #Like there's something about creating a pattern and then breaking it. 3 visible but closed eyes and 3 hands on her head.#Then the 4th eye being 'open' (literally can't be closed bc it's a bloody eyeball lol) and held in a the 4th hand (which is marked and also #visibly different from the other hands/arms as well.)#Even the way they are posed/frames almost mirrors the position with her lower bod going out of frame/sticking out from the silhouette #IT'S SO GOOD???#Professional level composition I'm in awe!!#I love this.#Anyway- I clicked your url bc I wanted more info on them/to see if you had a tag for them and hit the jackpot in your toxic yuri tag adkhad #which feels fitting #edit: just realized this was part of a vrisrezi fanart experiment lol but my points still stand!!!
