AGGGHHHHH I’m so pissed off

I found a neat looking game on steam. 90% text-based colony sim with a little bit of tasteful ASCII art. All the gameplay revolved around typing commands in a terminal. And the theming was 100% my thing

Sunk two hours into it and genuinely loved it.

Then I checked out what else the developer made—

Like, twelve reskins of the same low-quality shovelware game, all with colorful AI-generated graphics, all released within a month of each other, with the game I played randomly slotted in between.

And now I’m disgusted that I liked something that’s now so clearly AI garbage— I immediately lost interest when I found out, and now I feel pretty betrayed

Anyway, I guess what I’m saying is that you have to be prepared for the day generative AI makes something that you like.

Importantly 👆you have to hate it regardless

so. i just learned that my entirely me-written resume flags as being AI-written by automated HR systems for a few writing quirks and the fact that i followed all the rules of good resume writing, which is apparently a telltale sign of AI use in this fucking hellworld. i've been desperately applying to jobs that i am massively overqualified for for months with no response, not even an interview, and now i find out that at least part of the reason is because some fucking moron decided that following the rules every career advisor has given me for a decade means i cheated and should be disqualified. the ai bubble cannot pop soon enough. what the actual fuck.

*Meaning either you sleeping over at a friend's house or them sleeping over at yours, without having arranged it in advance. You're having a normal playdate with the expectation that the guest will go home, but it's then agreed that they can stay.

You can count family members (e.g. cousins) if sleeping over was a special occasion and not a regular routine thing.

Don't count emergencies where someone couldn't go home for whatever reason. Only purely voluntary sleepovers.

I see all these memes about 'asking if your friend can sleep over', and that never worked for me. Sleepovers always had to be agreed in advance.
