I remember Kim-anh telling me of this documentary called 'a lion called Christian' on youtube. She told me to watch it, but I was too busy then. I just finished watching it and it was a superb use of 45:07 minutes! The documentary reminded me so much of me and mushu (my first puppy). It reminded me of my special connection with mushu:) teehee. People say that pets choose their masters and I believe Mushu chose me :) The day I went to see him, I purposely chose not to go to him but to see if he would walk to me. HE DID! He slowly walked to my feet and sat there :D. When he was still living with us, he would come whenever I call. He would listen to my commands above all others. He would choose to sit with me above others :'). 

Now going back to 'a lion called Christian', the documentary is about a lion cub bought in the late 60's by two Australian friends from Harrod's department store. After 8 months of taking care of him in their apartment, they found it hard to give him a good life in london city. So, they arranged for him to move to Africa. After a year of leaving him there, they went back to visit him and he remembered them!

I've always been good at spelling but sometimes I doubt myself.

I once had a conversation with a high school friend on how staring at a word for too long can make us doubt its spelling. For example, if we look at the word 'yellow' for a while, we start to wonder why 'yellow' is spelled 'yellow' .

I feel like such a mum :D After midsems, I was so bored, I started cleaning; even scrubbed our kitchen floor! Today, I woke up and made an appointment for mulu at a vet and drove him to get a jab and dewormed :D Came home to drop him off and went to buy groceries. When I came home, I started cleaning again lol!

ZOMG! Mushu has worms!!!!! I didn't know dogs are prone to so many worms!! and they can infect humans as wells!! now my head is itchy! :S I gave him meds though.. so hopefully.. :S GAHH FREAKING OUT!

It's a wonder how I currently am suffering from food poisoning in Melbourne after a sandwich and coffee, and was perfectly fine in Thailand where I even had fried caterpillars. LOL!

EFFFF I lost my retainers and I'm in Thailand :"(! That means no retainers for nearly one week! Oh God I hope my teeth do not shift and go wonky... Oh God, help me find it!

Just landed in KL to leave for BKK with third sistan. We had brekky with Ben at terminal 1 in Changi Airport. I hate kaya toast with half boiled egg and barley :) YUM I love sg, need to get that shirt soon

A Simple Request

S: Can you get bananas please?

M: Bananas are fattening.

S: They are high in fibre and make you poo

M: Why do you think they make you poo?

S: What? So I cannot eat bananas?

M: I'm not saying you CANNOT eat bananas.

S: Then why are you telling me it's fattening? You only say something is 'fattening' when you don't want us to eat it.

M:You can eat whatever you want but I'm telling you to not eat SO MANY bananas because it makes you put on weight.

S: So you ARE telling me NOT to eat bananas?

I hate receiving (Unknown) calls. They shoot a bout of fear through my body. When I see an (Unknown) call, I expect bad news. I feel that if I knew the number I can anticipate the person's request/comment/topic of conversation. An (Unknown) call to me represents a cancellation of shifts, emergency call, an unwanted request, a prank call, unwanted information. They really scare me. There should never be (Unknown) calls.

I'm missing my friends in Malaysia. Last summer I went down for a 3 week holiday to Asia, met up with some long ago friends who I still keep in touch with. They are so fun, full of laughter, so R&B. I can't wait for them to visit me here, or to get back up there for another full sesh of roaming, laughing, shopping.
