Hey there- welcome to my blog !

My name’s Balloony, I also go by Spiral, Sigma and Bone, so you may call me that as well. I’m balloonybologna on everywhere but here and ao3 (which I’m barely active at anyways xp).

I did have a blog under balloonybologna, but I dropped it since I was very disorganised on it and I dread trying to clean it up. So, here I am!

My bio’s very self explanatory and straight to the point. Don’t really have much else to say about myself in that regards. This pinned is more so for my boundaries, tags and specific interests.

Partycrashers and my ocs are my main hyperfixations right now! But I may dabble in other fandoms from time to time such as hermitcraft, life series, bfdi and whatever else catches my attention.

I am uncomfortable with explicit sexualisation of my artwork. In general, assume most of my fanart, especially if it’s about real people, are not sexual. Unless the creator themself have given explicit consent, do not sexualise my fanwork of them or ship them with people.

As for my ocs, my boundaries vary for them so please ask for permission first before saying anything sexual or even romantic about them. I am okay with “I want/need them” but anything else will be crossing the line if I haven’t given explicit consent.

Thinking about Orange as an imposter because of a fanfic idea I have bouncing around in my mind rn and ykw they weren’t actually the worst imposter alive all things considered

Yeah they killed in front of everyone and instantly got voted out so it’s only fair that Green thinks they’re a dumbass but like, you have to remember only two people had died then. Sure they probably could’ve been more patient and maybe paid more attention to their environment before killing Lime but before then they weren’t the worst imposter

They had a high position to begin with, something that gets them close with Red and therefore decent power over them at least who then is officially in charge of the rest of the crew. Green and Orange did a decent job protecting each other and throwing suspicion onto at least Lime. And frankly, I personally hadn’t thought that Orange was an imposter due to their position so it’s not out there to think the crewmates might’ve thought the same

It was still early on into the game. Orange just happened to kill at the wrong time in the wrong place

One of my brothers has this thing where he likes to be included on sibling movie night but he will not sit down or actually join us, he’ll just wander around the house and periodically show up to lurk in the doorway or lean on someone’s seat

This guy inspired me to repair my own macbook. First of all, you should know that I am not… like, I have to look up HOW to look up what my computer specifications are. Tech, that ware either soft or hard, is not a subject in which I experience comfort or competence. But my puppy peed on my keyboard, and I asked the apple store, or the fucking mac cafe, or the godsdamn Computer House Chill Zone or whatever cute ass name they have for their bullshit store, and they said it would be TWELVE HUNDRED DOLLARS TO REPLACE MY KEYBOARD. I’m not even exaggerating.

So I asked the internet, well how hard IS it to repair? And I saw this guy’s video, and while I am no techie, I AM fueled by spite, so I was all “oh, they do that shit on purpose specifically so they can charge me $1200 bucks or make me buy a new computer hunh? FUCK THEM” and I bought all the tools I needed for about $25 and I bought all the parts I needed for about another $25 and I watched a few tutorial videos, and I replaced my own keyboard.

So, once you are doing the actual deed, it becomes pretty obvious that they are finding creative ways to make this much harder than it has to be on purpose. On thing that stood out to me is, instead of all the tiny screws being the same size, there are about two dozen very slightly different sizes. They could easily be all the same size, or like, two sizes at most, but no.

These mother fuckers will take a panel that screws into place and they’ll use a different size screw for each corner. They are so close that you almost cannot tell them apart visually, but they each will only screw into the matching corner. Like, it’s a pretty clear “fuck you” to anyone trying to do repairs.

like tbh i feel like my problem with the “dark and gritty!!” trend in modern stories is this

there’s this idea in our culture that cynicism is realistic? that only children believe in happy endings, that people are ultimately selfish and greedy and seeing with clear eyes means seeing the world as an awful place

that idealism is– easy, i guess. butterflies and sunshine and love are easy things to have in your head.

but i’ve known since i was fifteen that idealism– faith in humanity– optimism– is the most difficult thing in the entire world.

i constantly struggle to have faith in humanity, because it’s really, really easy to lose it. it’s easy to look at the news and go “what were you expecting? of course humans behave this way.” it’s easy to see the world and go “ugh, there’s no hope there.” and the years when i believed that were easy. miserable– but easy.

it is hard work to see the good in people. it is hard work to hope. it is hard work to keep faith and love and joy and appreciation for beauty in my daily life.

and when moviemakers and tv producers and writers go “omg!!! all characters are selfish and act poorly and don’t love each other, nothing ever happens that is happy or good, that’s so much more realistic, that’s so much more adult”

i was at mcc live. the pink parrots were also the only team not to enter from the stage bc of the lack of a ramp. it's why they entered from the back and passed through the audience

there was also an award show at 'half time' during which the hermits won an award, and they were the only group that didn't go on stage bc they didn't have a ramp

toward the end of the games, they had all participants go on stage for a skit thing... except Scar (and a few of the others who decided to hang out with him instead of going up, though i heard staff tried to convince those people to leave Scar and go on stage)

there were three moments, even outside of accepting the MCC win, in which they knew Scar was supposed to be on stage, and they did not give him any ability to actually get on stage

fun fact no type of human is inherently harder to draw than any other. if you feel like you cant draw fat people/textured hair/wheelchairs etc you should do it anyways. do it badly first and you'll figure it out with practice, just like anything else. go forth. i believe in you.
