You know what sucks about dating. When you meet someone that you don’t really have to put effort into getting to know because you mesh so well, but timing is off.

When you meet someone that fits so well, it’s difficult to have or want to put a ton of effort into getting to know someone else because that relationship was so easy.

I have someone like that in my life. We met for the first time almost 3 years ago. He asked me tonight if we would have had a future if he lived closer and I semi-jokingly told him he is why I am still single. He thought that was a bad thing, but it wasn’t at all.

Our relationship and friendship was just so organic and real, our conversations so easy, and our arguments so raw, that since him, if there is much of a struggle to get to know someone I would rather just walk away.

I am not sure that is a good thing or a bad thing. But dating sucks.
