Cassandra shifted a little in her chair. Like her job? She never really had one because of the whole superheroing thing. That she lived and breathed and she wasn’t just about to blurt out she was a superhero and before that an assassin. So responding to that question was impossible for her and she tried to come up with a good lie. Biting her lip she carefully pronounced out the next sentence knowing she was going to mess up somewhere. “I was an assistant.”
