The marksman cautiously roams through the rose colored sky and the ambient forest with his polished rifle in his hands, watching out for wild game. However, he was searching for a particular mythical creature. One known to be very neat, very organized... very deadly. This creature had a high bounty on its head, known to have slaughtered over two hundred victims, hikers, campers, hunters, and law included. Many hunters were brutally decapitated and minced, trying to search for it and showing its corpse to the public for fame and glory. Whether they wanted trophies or they wanted the money, they never even touched the damned thing. Mashimo decided to set up in the forest not too long ago, searching for the beast while no one else decided to. Not a soul knows he's out there searching for the beast.

His pet bird, who's also his only close friend, glides around the trees while Heisuke sits on a log, eating a cup of ramen near the blazing fire in front of him. His eyes then turn to his left where he gazes at an instant camera photo, along with a sketch of a humanoid spider slightly hidden in the tuck of his front backpack pocket. He pulls the two of them out, examining the pictures closer.

In the photo, the image is really blurry. The creature is seen hanging the limbs of its poor victim by spider silk, the head and its limbs to be exact. It's obvious the photo was taken right after the creature spotted the photographer, as its face is blurry yet turned ninety ety degrees. The distance between the camera shot and the scene was also enough to confirm that whoever took this photo is most likely the next victim after.

The next image is the sketch... which is a replicated drawing of the original but also a few more added noted details along with a front view of the creature which is not perfectly shown in the photo. There's also several names for the creature marked out until a new one is decided. Apartne... the others were three worded and just cheesy, sounding almost like some fictional made up myth. Though, the whole incident sounded like one. Nobody could believe a spider like humanoid could roam the forest and kill over two hundred people.

Heisuke shoves the two images back into his backpack and sets down the noodle cup. His companion lands down on his shoulder.

"Once we catch this thing yo, we'll be living important lives from now on, Piisuke!" The hunter exclaims, grabbing his flask full of water and bringing it towards his lips, only to be stopped by the sound of ruffling in the bushes behind him. He turns his head quickly, looking all around him. Nothing. He and Piisuke both assume it was a rabbit and just shrug it off. Heisuke grabs a bucket, fills it with water from a nearby stream. He walks over back to the fire and dumps it over it to put it out. He places the bucket down and climbs inside of his tent, just to write into his log journal.

Apart likes to wrap his limbs around him at night when they're sleeping or he'll wrap his razor sharp wires around him and cuddle him like a body pillow

I like the idea of Heisuke using Apart's wires to ricochet bullets at the enemy when they're both in a fight against someone or at least train a little together

Apart enjoys feeding Piisuke. Also might remind Heisuke to feed him the exact amount of food he needs a day

Apart organizes Heisuke's bullets and equipment perfectly for him

Apart acts like a housewife but still seems to be wearing the pants in the relationship

Heisuke goes up to the counter at some fast food place and tells the workers his husband asked for no pickles

Piisuke probably being the only animal Apart has never had the thought of harming

Apart occasionally fixes up Mashimo's tent with his wires

Apart also neatly arranges parts of fhe tent as well like the sheets and pillows to they're bed

Heisuke's date with Apart will usually be eating a snack together on top of a roof top

Heisuke definitely sends love letters to Apart with Piisuke as a messenger

Heisuke spying on Apart with his sniper scope or asking Piisuke to follow Apart and give information

Heisuke calming down an angry or sad Apart

They act like best friends together when in public

I imagine they have a type of team up ability where Apart can hold a target still with his wires while Heisuke takes a shot at them

Angst Apart most likely crying and feeling useless at the thought of Heisuke being harmed and not being there to prevent it

Heisuke and Apart tending to each other's injuries

Apart knows how important Piisuke is to Heisuke so he'll probably kill anyone for even trying to hurt him

Speaking of killing, Apart still getting used to the no killing rule when he marries Heisuke

They definitely sit together when dining with their friends and family (Sakamoto cough cough)

As Heisuke kneels upon the roof tops close to the edge, his sniper holds in the palms for his hands, his sight eye gazes through the lens of the scope. His feathered companion rests on his shoulder, examining his owner's move. Piisuke leaps off the marksman's shoulder and snatches a piece of paper with him on his journey. The paper appeared to be folded up, intended to send a message. As he glides, he drops what can assume to be a note, down from the sky. It lands right in front of a sauntering, mysterious, young adult male, who was roaming the night, his long bangs covered half of his face, specifically his eyes. The man was, Apart, the mass serial killer who was put on death row not too long ago. It's a long story why he's not in the chair or getting executed via firing squad, but he seems to be freely roaming the city now. He just exited Sakamoto's convenience store, and as his foot accidentally stomps on the dropped paper, he looks up to see where it could have come from. The yellow bird already quickly leaves the corner of his eye. He leans down to pick up the note out of curiosity, since it was clearly meant for him. As he unfurls to its original state, he reads the words written in messy black ink:

“Come to the roof tops, Piisuke (the yellow bird) will lead you there.” - Heisuke M.
