First of all, thank you for having landed on this page. It gets lonely around here... Who am I? Well, I am an avid reader and writer, and a very poor artist— I also love to chat, so don’t hesitate to ping me or to send me a pm or an ask if you ever feel the need to!

I have too many fandoms to name, but they’ll probably cycle regularly on this blog, depending on my latest obsession. I’m not a fan of romance, so most of what I’ll dig will be gen. I am however an absolute fan of angst and crack as well as a wing fanatic 🎶

#to forge a hero is for all my hero forge art. I make sure to emb links so you can have access to the figurine. Hero forge has its limits... but it’s a very cool platform! I post all the art created thanks to it on To Forge a Hero on Ao3.

#fragments of imagination is for the fics i do crosspost on tumblr, or for the cool, angsty or cracky snippets I find in fics and share here. They are all under the tag #quote in my ao3 bookmarks. I

Chap 6 will be extra short (half of what i had planned) but in exchange it also means I can post it sooner! I finished writing it, so it just need my beta editing now. :3

As for why I disappeared for a few weeks... I got sidetracked. Odysseus lenghts of sidetracked.

Procrastinated writing the one shot I had to finish for an event in another fandom.

Ended up beginning to read Got Dropped into a Ghost Story, Still Gotta Work (GSGW) due to said procrastination. Best and worst choice of my life. So addicting. Spent 4 full days of holiday reading its 371 chaps and it still wasn’t enough to cover them all. It made me cry. It’s still making me cry. Really the most delicious kind of tragedy is when people care yet no compromise can be found (love is here, yet love isn’t enough). Also funny. Even if it’s a miracle I didn’t make nightmares from all the SCP-style ghost stories XD.

Also read any Gen fics of GSGW I could put my fingers on because apparently I hadn’t hurt myself enough with canon. (It was painful).

Discovered Lord of Mysteries anime. Very pretty and intriguing. Ending music is so so good and addicting I’ve been listening to it in loop all week. Tried the novel. Dropped the novel bcs too slow-paced (but i’ve read the books summaries and a few fics xd). Also still obsessed with gsgw.

Finally finished writing the one shot for the event.

Improvised a new short chap of Ghost Grace in one evening to get myself back into phm writing mood.

Somehow watched the whole anime of Witch Hat Atelier + read all of the scans in like two days (some tasty angst bit along~)

Discovered the Taggle multifandom event (similar to battleship) that’s gonna happen soon and got hyped on it.

And finally properly working on winged Grace chap 6 🎶 (Still obsessed by gsgw too though XD. I might be for a while still.).

All being said, I’m very very excited to unfold the rest of Alis ex astris plot to you all :3

there is a stripper pole in my attic. i saw it in a dumpster one day, and i went, shit, this is exactly the kind of thing my wife would want. and i didnt really want it in the house, what with it being a used stripper pole lightly seasoned with dumpster juice, but i mentally decided that if she were to see it and ask for it, i would say she could have it, and then sure enough, later that evening, she went soooo baaaaaaaabs there's this thing by the dumpster and i want it but i get it if you don't want it in the house but i have to show it to you- and i went, no you dont, you can have the pole, and that was the most surprised i have ever made her look. even compared to the day when i proposed to her, which she was prepared enough that we both knew she would say yes, and she could also get her hair done up and have a cute outfit, but not so prepared that she was not fucking flabbergasted by the 12 empty decoy ringboxes i sprung on her. i handed her so many decoy ring boxes that day. still one of the funniest things i've ever done to her.

anyway we like pacing around together and ranting in the attic but sometimes instead of pacing one of us will just hang on the pole and spin, and the other person will watch on the beanbag, which makes for these really goofy conversations where the person on the bag will say something that gets the other persons goat, such as, hypothetically, that xylophones do not belong in rock music, and then the other person will go on a tirade about this, but they'll actually only be facing the Hot Take Speaker half of the time, what because of the pole, so the response will sound something like

and then that person will continue until they get too dizzy, then they'll get off the pole, and by unspoken agreement, the person on the bag will get up and trade places with them to deliver their rebuttal while also spinning and it just creates this sort of crazy strip-court lawyers debating absolute nonsense for no reason kind of vibe that frankly just really does it for us.

i don't really have any marriage advice for this i guess its just a look at what being married can look like. i thought that being married would involve a lot more stuff like carving the turkey, or barbecuing, or watching the sunset, and if id known how much time it would involve arguing for xylphones in rock music while spinning upside down i might have prepared for it a little differently.

there’s gotta be a dinner or something at Wayne Manor one time where everybody’s discussing how stupid the stuff they all get involved in and how emotionally damaged everything’s made them over the years—like laughing it all off, making light of their traumas, the way family should. anyway there has to be a moment where one of the kids like Tim brings up like “Man, surely we have to hand it to Alfie for being such a legend and putting up with everything. like- like he was literally just hired as a butler.”

and Jason pipes up from the end of the table around a mouthful of green beans, “True. Plus he had to deal with little-Bruce as his new employer. His employee-loyalty rate is off the fucking charts.”

and Bruce just kinda hums before casually admitting, “Yeah… I was not a good boss, either. like- especially in my teen years? You all thought the dark era was rough, you should have seen Batman’s teenage angst phase.”

“The fact that he didn’t quit is, quite frankly, insane to me.” Dick nods in agreement. And then Bruce just kinda… shrugs.

“I mean technically he doesn’t work for me anymore? I remember when I was fourteen I got angry and fired him over dinner for not agreeing to drive me to a drag race. I told him to get out of my house and he looked me right in the eyes and said ‘shut the fuck up and eat your peas.’” Bruce takes a sip of wine, casual. “Anyway, I never actually took back what I said, and I never re-hired him. So legally he’s now just a random guy who squats in the manor and regularly steals money from my bank account.”

And the kids are all staring at him in bafflement as Alfred walks past the dining room and blandly calls out, “I started stealing larger amounts of money after that, too.”
