a pencil test of Donkey Kong for the DKReAnimated collab
Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong (with a special appearance by Bob Clampett’s Gremlin) done in the Jungle Book style.
My parody of the web slinger at his funkiest!
A portion of animation from the DKReAnimated project I worked on

30 years, 6 computer games, a thousand remakes, 2 gameshows, a cartoon series, a board game and they still can’t figure out Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?
Something I’d love to animate one day. Made for parody purposes. Spiderman owned by Marvel.
These were all sketches and thumbnails for my final from figure anatomy. I was going to have a victim for the creature but my teacher decided against it. I’m glad I took his advice.
Another piece from figure anatomy
Figure Anatomy Class- a good excuse to study the old masters. But does one really need an excuse?
I was particularly pleased with his lighting.
Another 5 minute gesture excersize.
Just some gesture drawing exercises from class.
Another painting of the gentleman with the Mario Bros. mustache.
Another one from figure anatomy. I thought the colors were too dark when I did them, but now I feel the piece resonates with passion or something fiery.
More life drawings of classmates. Fun fact #149: The guy at the bottom had the same name as me. Hilarity ensued with our teacher.
Another assignment in lighting. Two of my classmates came through for me as my models.
A final from my figure anatomy class. A combination of ink and pencil wash that work to my advantage. The idea was to create a creature (based on other animals but non-existent) and place them into an environment with lighting. I feel with this piece I discovered my love for baroque and shadowy art.
