Orange sat in a corner of the run-down building the androids called home, humming idly. Nothing much was happening today. The yellow one had snuck out again, and came back. The blue one had left later, and was not back yet.
Probably seeking supplies. That was something he often did. The blue one liked to keep busy. It distracted him from his grief. Orange himself did not often think about the snarly angry pink one, or the fact that he was gone, but the blue one did.
The obnoxious one and Feather were squabbling again on the couch at the other end of the room. The yellow one was therefore away from them, in the corner opposite Orange's. Orange had watched his moment of anxious deliberation over whether he preferred Orange's intimidating silence or his other brothers' arguing. He was avoiding Orange's eyes, huddled on the ground with his gaze on the floor.
The door opened.
"Hello, everyone."
Orange didn't bother looking up. It was the blue one returning. Possibly with oil or another resource. Nothing notable. The upside was that the two on the couch went quiet when they heard the blue one come.
Then the yellow one gasped and scrambled to his feet.
"B-B-Blue?" His mechanical stutter got much worse, shaking with disbelief. "Wh-What...is th-th-that?"
Unusual reaction. Orange decided to turn his head and look.
Orange considered himself unshockable, but shocks can come from unthinkable places. The blue one had brought back a corpse.
The blue one dragged it in further, over the floor. The body looked very much like Feather, only without glasses.
That meant it was...well, Orange had never cared enough to remember the name. Everyone else called him the death machine.
"Sorry, Yellow. I know a body isn't a nice sight." He said. Being one of the simpler machines, his facial expressions were limited, but he sounded subdued. Not sad, exactly. More...tired. "Someone would have seen it, if...if I left it there."
The other two got an eyeful of the scene. "Holy shit!" The green one said admiringly. "He's fucking dead?"
"Wow, you did it!" Feather sang his praises. "You got rid of him! Well, finally we're--"
"SHUT UP!"
That had been Yellow.
He was trembling in place, tears in his eyes. Artificially-made tears, being an android, but real all the same. Everyone in the room stared at him.
His shaky squeaky voice burst like a broken dam with anger and hurt. "Why are you a-all ch-cheering like this is a g-g-good thing?!"
"Yellow?" Blue said, surprised. He dropped his grip on the body's wrist. "Yellow, it's alright--"
"N-N-No, it i-isn't! You k-killed him!"
Blue tried to sound calming. "I know me killing is upsetting--"
"YOU'RE NOT E-EVEN LISTENING TO M-ME!" Tears were streaming down Yellow's face. "H-He was my F-F-FRIEND! I-I-I l-liked him!"
"What?" Sheer astonishment kept him from reacting any other way. The other ways would have come out for anyone besides the baby of the family. "He--He killed Pink."
"I KNOW!" Yellow hiccuped. His voice quieted. "I...I kn-know. But...I-I asked. Why. I-It was to d-d-defend himself. N-Not. because he d-d-didn't like him. N-Not out of h-h-hate. Like you did."
Blue flinched.
His head bowed. He stood there in silence.
Yellow glanced around in a familiar, sheepish way. Though sad and hurt with no one challenging him, he was still himself enough to be embarrassed by his outburst. He left in the direction of the back door, wiping his eyes.
The silence and its sense of shame was oppressive. Orange noted it even within himself, though he had done absolutely nothing to push things to this point. Nothing to stop it, either...
Feather was the first one to leave. He got off the couch and shuffled away, eyes down, unable to look at the body.
The green one opened and closed his mouth a few times as though wanting to talk, but not finding anything good to say. He looked at Blue, then at the back where Yellow had gone, then chose to slink the opposite way to the front door.
Blue stood there very still for several minutes. Then, he mustered the strength to move, and tread slowly after Yellow.
The room was empty. Now there was nothing to look at but the body.
So Orange looked. Green blood, a monstrous burnt wound through the torso. No doubt from Blue's gun.
He was about to stop looking, and did a double-take.
It was not his imagination, for as far as he knew he did not possess an imagination. But what he thought he saw did not seem...possible. He stared longer just to be sure.
Slowly, just barely, the corpse's chest rose. And, again, very slowly, it fell.
Still breathing. The death machine has a hole through his torso and he is still breathing.
Well. It disproves him being a machine. He is an organic. One who Yellow will mourn. Who Blue will likely regret killing now.
Many facets to this situation. Many emotions. Easy to handle badly.
sometimes i think i’m arrogant but then i remember that julius caesar was kidnapped by cicilian pirates and when they demanded a ransom of 620 kgs of silver he got mad because he thought he was worth more than that and made them raise it to 1550 kg
- Honey is mostly sugar (WoW!) it is 80% sugar and 20% water (double WoW!)

-Honey is the ONLY food that contains all the substances you need to survive (Including WATER)
-Children under the age of 1 should not eat honey… why? because sometimes it contains bad stuff called botulism and can cause them to get botulism poisoning (that sucks, even infants should taste the deliciousness that is honey)
-Honey will crystallize under optimum temperatures (this has a lot to do with how you store it)
-Bees produce honey to eat during the winter when there are no flowers and no nectar for them.
-A honeybee would only need an ounce of honey to be able to fuel a flight around the world (this makes for a very cultural bee!)
-A typical beehive can make up to 400 pounds of honey a year! (Wowza!)
Kindness is often mistaken for softness and let me tell you, friends….that is a mistake you don’t want to make.
Kind people are not born that way, they do not stumble into it, kind people are forged in fire and darkness and imploding stars…they have steel cores. Throw a punch and you’re going to break your hand.
characters who crave affection but at the same time have no idea how to respond to actually receiving it due to the fact theyve rarely ever experienced it are my absolute favourite
