Description
Hana-chan/Hana-san is a Japanese doll (maybe a“ichimatdu,” but I’m not sure) Oh and her personality, she’s quite kind and helpful, though she tends to be selfish, overly quiet, and focused on her own priorities; she has a weird/creepy tastes; her favorite food is sweets; she has fire attributes; and She’s part of “Tsukomono” and “Eerie” tribes
…
And…… She’s an adult (like 40)
Before being a Yokai
Before she became a yokai, she was just an ordinary doll created for meant company to kids
until… well… she became a collector’s item and could no longer be with the kids again…
The museum where she was displayed didn’t allow kids. She hates being in that museum and in that glass case because it was her cage, her prison.
She could only watch and listen, from time to time, some mothers complained about their children, while Hana wondered, “Why do they complain so much about their kids and not see that others could be die just to have a kids for to play with?”
…
Without realizing it, a feeling of envy had grown inside her.
Hana-chan (past)
And after some time, thanks to a mix of emotions like hope, resilience, and perseverance, she turn in a yokai, though she could only fly and knew that humans couldn’t see her.
Hana-chan was alone again; all she could do was watch the kids pass and play with their mothers while her feelings of jealousy and anger for the mothers grew. They could have their own children to play with, raise, and spend time with, while she couldn’t do any of that. Why was it so unfair?

Despite the circumstances, Hana-chan remained positive and decided to find ways to be with the kids

And that’s when she found Hana Poncho
Hana Poncho
Hana Poncho was her only chance to be with the kids, to see their happy faces and to give them the love they so richly deserved. Despite her feelings of envy about the mothers, she was positive; she wasn’t going to succumb to her shadowside desires, and she wasn’t going to lose her mind.
Hana Poncho was a rather humanoid and weird animatronic exactly the thing Hana-chan loved. After all, it was her only chance and maybe her destiny.
The day of the big event arrived, and…
Well, you know the story…
Hana-san
After being rejected by the kids Hana-chan had lost all hope. She didn’t understand why the kids no longer loved her; she lost her last opportunity.
Hana-chan was doll who supposed to bring joy to kids but now She was scared them. Locked away once again, she let out the rage, pain, and envy she had kept hidden deep within herself for so long.
But that wasn’t all. The pain and suffering she had, caught the attention of a being who specialized in such matters…
Soranaki…
who was more than happy to help her.
Thanks to her boundless desire and Soranaki’s influence, Hana-chan transformed into Hana-san…
the version she herself had cultivated all these years…
Hana-san was the ideal of being a new caregiver for kids, inspired by how she viewed mothers and their particular tastes. A taller woman, more human appearance, it was time to reach the kids she had always wanted to be with.
“If the kids can’t come to me, then I’ll go to them.”
Disguised as Hana Poncho, she wandered through the various attractions at Hana Hana Family Land in search of kids, seeking out those who seemed neglected and forgotten in the park. It had been quite some time since her desire to be with kids and her resentment toward mothers had transformed into a different feeling; Hana-san wanted to be a mother and thought she could take on that role, but…
Where would she take care of them?

In a playroom she created using her powers for the kids could play with her.
All kids have a home where they can play with her, their new mother
…
But some day, the Yokai detective team arrived…
Hana-chan (now)
After the events of cap 24, Hana-chan is now dedicated to cheering up the kids. It was hard for her to leave the kids she had captured bc she love them and She look they as her kids.
Hana-chan still is Hana-san bc Hana-san’s still a part of her, but She hasn’t Soranaki’s influence anymore bc She forgave and work abouy her envy about the mothers. While it wasn’t easy to redeem herself, some kids were quickly reunited with their parents, but others were lost. Soooo She as Hana Poncho helped the kids find their respective families (off-screen).
Oh, and she also works at Hana Hana Family Land, helping visitors and making sure the kids don’t get lost, even though she could never have kids of her own, at least she can be with the kids.
Headcanons
And finally, here are some headcanons I have about her :p

She’s a very busy
Sometimes she babysits other yokai kids
She can’t move her doll body very well and this is the reason bc she prefers fly
She can change her voice at will
She has fire powers, but she doesn’t use them bc it’s dangerous for the kids
She can change her voice when she wants.
Also she changed her voice to a higher pitch to please the children because her old voice was very deep
Her only yokai-friend is Jinta
She prefers the company of humans over that of yokai
She’s an adult, (aprox 40)

CHAT LOOK MY FAN CONCEPT ABOUT AKINORI’S MOTHER (ARIHOSHI AIKO)
Okey I like this in the Arihoshi family as matriarchal clan, because Akinori is the only boy we know, (if exist other Arihoshi boy… so I’m sorry, I forgot him) Also Akinori doesn’t have a “deep” magic conexion (Tae just feel insecure about her habillity).
And We don’t know who are the Akinori’s parents… so I make Arihoshi Aiko!!! my vision about a possible Akinori’s mother.
Aiko travel around the world proyect the normal humans for the yokais, She’s melacolic, could, tall and tired woman. her best Friend is Komasan (SS) and is a irresponsible mother (like Mitsue)
I very hungry for Kenbumajin content ehh I wanna hear Headcanons or somethig I don’t care if they are super lore accurated or just play whit their toys
So I plubic my Headcanons ◝(ᵔᗜᵔ)◜
They are so old that the tribes to which they belonged are now extinct
In terms of age, they are: Byakko < Suzaku < Ashura y Fudou Myouou < Genbu
The Kenbumajin are the remnants of Gentou's former army
They are technically political and military
They are a group independent of Mikado's government and, in fact, continue to serve the Oni tribe
Something they help/support Mikado or/and Izana gobernment
The Oni tribe are their superiors, and they continue to serve them and follow their orders even if they are no longer in power
Ashura and Byakko are a duo who teamed up to annoy Genbu (just for fun)
Genbu is a little shy
Here's the order in which they joined the team: Suzaku < Ashura< Byakko < Fudou Myouou < Genbu
Genbu is like the mother/babysitter of the group
Byakko is the youngest of them all, he can be as childish and immature (even though he’s an adult)
Suzaku and Ashura are the most distant from the Kenbumajin
They like to fight, and sometimes they do it just for fun
Sometimes they feel overwhelmed by how their home (the Youmakai) has changed
They knew what are they doing 👀 (Byakko and Genbu)
Also It isn’t all Byakko and Genbu are oppositve, Byakko is the youngest and Genbu is the oldest, Byakko is smiling and carefree and Genbu is serius and stoic, and like the imagen Byakko has dark skin and Genbu white skin(ironic bc they are white tiger and black turtle, probaly the desingers make this by the way, oh well I like think this 𖾕𖾝꙼ᩚ𛲕𖾟).
Byakko and Genbu are oppositve about ALL (in desing and personallity)
Okey, kenbumajin/gijinka Genbu look so fine, BUT I don’t like He’s so purple? Or is just me, I see his desing and I think his mayor color is purple and no green, I like that they put purple in his desing because oppositive color palete lol But… I think they focused too much on purple instead of green although he’s a turtle.
Also they cut his beard of his genjuu form I don’t like this, But repit He’s fine :3
