Is it even still called mercy plates if Gaster changes his mind AFTER the plates? Idk. But anyway the au where he couldn’t bring himself to cause more pain after trying once and now their relationship is a bit mixed. Anyway not Sans trying to make him feel bad and attached to them by using parental terms, whilst Papyrus is making sure Gaster isn’t feeling “left out” XD.
