LIKE okay listen man, a lot of you are young artists here and some of you are not young and trying out art and do this. I’m sorry but I’m not going to be all sugarcoaty and pastel uwu ish but it’s really really hard to put it in your heads that you are your own artists with that sort of tone of voice so I’m going to be stern with you guys
Stop comparing yourself to others, you are your own artist and god damn look at your art work, sure maybe your anatomy is off but you’re now better at anatomy a little bit more than before. ya think everyone knows how to draw and colour stuff, even if you dont do it “properly” no. man no, just. look, you’re doing this shit and it’s awesome, fucking open your eyes and see that
“ i have no ideas“ bitch i’m pretty sure you have HAD ideas before. HAD doesn’t mean it doesn’t mean ANYTHING, it means you have the potential to do it. so what if you aren’t putting that potential to use right now or you’re procrastinating.
—what, some villain in a time-mission is gonna kill you because you aren’t using it ?? dude, it’s art, it’s FREE FOR ALL, its for YOU and you can do it ANYTIME. couldn’t do it in class? thats ok. couldnt do it in college? thats ok too. couldn’t do it because of work? that is fine. couldn’t do it because you’re lazy and/or procastinating and/or depression? THAT IS FINE TOO. like, think of it as a walk in the park. You dont always have to walk in the park, sometimes it rains, sometimes it doesn’t. But you know what? that park is not gonna run away from you. it’ll be there for you all the time if you ever decide to take a walk again. you can say “ it’s okay, i can walk for another day “. some people jog everyday, some people really really work out in the park, some dont go there at all, some appreciate the aesthetic of the park.

do it like dont compare yourself to others, you have your own schedule, sorry this isnt any of those uwu ~~~~ur great~~~~ posts and sounds more aggressive than them but i’m just kind of pissed off at how many people QUIT ART or put themselves down just because another person has a different style/schedule/drawing energy like damn my dude.
sure, you CAN set goals but dont beat yourself up if you dont reach said goals
