"mhm. From the abyss we got those riftwolves and these.. laser...chicken things? I'm not exactly sure what those things are, but they spawn every so often. mostly closer to that eye thing and areas that are more common for the Wild hunt." He grumbled softly and rubbed his chin.

"and as for me? i'm not too badly damaged. Nothing a good old fashioned pile em up over at the camp won't fix! hows your maps coming along? their the most important thing you know!"

"Oh, um, I've gotten a lot of the area from Nasha Town to here covered, but it seems like things change a lot. Probably the Wild Hunt influence." Or maybe the gigantic cannon blasting things around.

And then he frowned. "Why don't we go back to the camp and I can take care of you, sir? I'm a healer too, remember?" If he tried it out here he had a feeling Varka would just play it off and run out to keep fighting.

((Based on leaks of Varka's kit it looks like Mika could be a good support for him. Good, he deserves it.))

"Just clearing out some things!" he grinned at being spotted and made his claymores vanish into his vision. Large hands dusting off as he came closer and gave one of Mika's shoulders a bump with his hand.

"By and large it's mostly light keepers and us out here, but It's good to keep the area clear for supply trains going back and forth. Got some reports of some nasty riftwolves in the area."

"Right, it's not just Wild Hunt that's out here, it's other Abyss monsters, too." Ones that he didn't have a lot of experience with, given they didn't show up much in Mondstadt. He was unsure if that was a good or bad thing.

His book quickly went away, and he shuffled over to Varka. "You're not hurt, are you?"

((Funniest thing about Mika to me by far is that he’s Cryo but has hardly any Cryo application and his ult looks and reads more like Anemo.

The Cryo side tried to kidnap him and it only sort of worked.))

Anyway don’t mind him. He has some mapping to do while in Nod-Krai. Is he going to end up somewhere he shouldn’t be? Probably! He’ll probably walk right into a nest of Wild Hunt.

Mika won't have to worry too much about that. Varka won't be too far behind his cartographer, a slight spring in his step! it's nice to see Mika in his element. and well, if that means Varka gets a workout clearing the boy's path ahead...

well, it's the least he can do since Mika brings back vital supplies from Mondstat.

He hadn’t even noticed he wasn’t alone at first, his book out. Sure, he knew that Nod-Krai was dangerous, but it wasn’t like he was a pushover.

Just apparently too easily absorbed in his work. It was only after a particularly noisy fight that he looked up.

"Kira?" Mika had been doing a delivery between the under and overworld when he spotted the woman. He'd heard a couple people from the Astral Express crew had been seen around, but they came and went a few times since officially finishing their business here and he hadn't thought much of it.

He'd been away from Mondstadt for a while on the trip with Amber and Captain Eula. When he first got back, he'd checked in with his parents. They didn't particularly worry about him because they knew how capable he was, but it still felt right to make sure his family knew he was in one piece.

With that done, he rested for a couple hours before setting off into town. Stevie was known to wander and during the day, it was hard to really know where she'd be. Luckily for him, he found her pretty easily, sitting at the fountain.

He gave her a smile when she spotted him and walked over, then took his hands.

"I'm back," he said with a laugh. "You didn't get into trouble while I was gone, did you?"
