I made this blog for me and me alone because I'm actually a headmate in a system but APPARENTLY my opinions are too controversial for some people in here so I couldn't post em on the main blog.

So basically, if you do happen to know what system I'm from, don't take what I post here as indicative of what the rest of the losers in my brain think.

Just saw some asshole refer derogatorily to "transmasc deltarune fans" as a group and say we're all media illiterate. And yes, they said "transmasc deltarune fans" in exact words. They aren't even being fucking subtle anymore. This fandom is a prison. We aren't allowed to see ourselves in characters, even in explicitly queer media.

I'm turning Noelle and Susie into men out of fucking spite. Sorry, they're transmasc now, it has to happen. Every time you say something transandrophobic I turn another UTDR character into a man or masc enby.

Flowsei is fine, actually.

Flowery's dialogue and mannerisms put him in his early college years.

Ralsei is presumably the same age as the rest of the Fun Gang, who read as late highschoolers.

That puts a one to three-ish year age gap between them.

Personally I'd put Ralsei at about 17 and Flowery at about 19. That's not exactly the huge age gap people make it out to be, and it's a fully canon compliant reading of both characters.

I think this fandom just needs to accept that some things are up to interpretation. Flowsei might be really weird and gross within YOUR interpretations of the characters, but there are plenty of readings where it isn't. Block the tags and move on if it makes you uncomfortable, you are responsible for curating your own fandom experience.

I'm not even the world's biggest flowsei fan but some of y'all are acting like it's the most horrible thing to ever happen and it's a little ridiculous.

Also. Be fucking for real right now.

Do we really think this sprite would exist if they weren't supposed to be at least kinda close in age???

And for fuck's sake, do we REALLY think that FLOWERY, the asshole anime boy twink who acts like THAT, is meant to be the same age as ASGORE???

I’ve seen a lot of people theorizing that Ralsei is trans fem (for compelling reasons) but let me propose an alternative: Ralsei is genderfluid

1. They don’t seem really uncomfortable with being referred to as a boy or assuming that role and they’re not insecure about it either.

2. Ralsei seems to enjoy changing shape? Whether it’s being a plush or a horse they kinda seem to like it? Makes me think that they might have a similar relation to their gender identity where they could like being prince to princess to monarch(I couldn’t find a better word) interchangeably.

3. "I suppose the only difference is how you present yourself" no matter the role Ralsei assumes they still feel like Ralsei

4. Genderfluid. Darkness is associated with water. Ralsei is a darkner. PUN PUN WINK WINK

5. That’s more theory talk but if Ralsei was shaped from a closeted Kris imagination or something like that, that would add on to the genderqueerness of it all

I get that Flowery is intentionally crafted to be grating and annoying (especially when you first meet him), but the amount of posts and reblogs I've seen where people talk about how much they despise him and wanting to violently murder him and how they're glad he's dead and how they feel 'violated' when he's onscreen, and call him a twink in the exact same sentence,

it feels weird? it feels weird and a little gross. I genuinely feel uncomfortable with how much people on this site use 'twink' when speaking derogatorily or demeaningly about men, in general. a twink is specifically a gay skinny young man, or at broadly a skinny young man-who-has-sex-with-men and is queer.

sometimes it feels like y'all are just barely holding yourself back from dropping the f-slur (on both real and fictional men, and on both men you hate and men you have cuteness agression towards) nilly willy.

Really like what's going on with Ralsei gender wise. Can't wait to see everyone on the planet misgendering the hell out of them if that development turns out to lead anywhere slightly more ambiguous or less easily labeled than strictly binary gender conforming trans girl.

Like I don't wanna be pissy about it, because I trust the DR team to pull off whatever place Ralsei is going and what they gave us in CH5 was so good. It just stings when, after seeing so many people still fail to properly gender Kris, now I have already seen people literally post the screenshots showing Ralsei being they/them'd and in the same breath she/her-ing them. As if they/them pronouns are optional. Like even if this turns out to just be a stepping stone to full she/her-ing trans girlhood, put some basic respect on the stepping stone as long as that is what the game is using.

in my mind transfem Ralsei and transmasc Noelle should be connected. i feel like both of them have pretty similar motivations and, along with that, pretty similar trans coding (albeit Ralsei's is a bit more direct with the dress and the princess stuff)

but like. Ralsei's whole "i want to discover myself" is pretty solidly agreed upon to be trans coding, but i dont see Noelle's "i want to change myself" recognized as trans coding very much

i doubt it will happen but i think if one of them canonically transitions the other should too
