• Needs your attention and praise sooooo badly, and is VERY clingy about it. Once he's attached to you, you become a solid 50% of Ace's self-esteem. He doesn't want to look pathetic or needy, but whenever you're not around, the self-loathing and doubt start creeping back in. Just being near you brings his mood up; expect many days of existing in shared space because Ace would rather spend hours napping on your couch than have to be alone.

• Constantly doing dumb shit to try to impress you. Ace is a terminal show-off who values common sense a lot less than the possibility of making you smile. If you dare him to try something, he will do it. If you even imply you think something would be cool, he's already rushing off to prove it. Very impulsive when your joy is on the line.

• No matter how often you praise him, he struggles to believe it. You really like him? You think he's sweet, and fun to be around? Ace can hear that kind of thing hundreds of times, and it still doesn't fully stick. He always has the distant, awful doubt that you're just saying such nice things to make him feel better, or that you'll surely realize how terrible he is eventually. Needs a lot of reassurance to develop any kind of internal security that you actually, really love him.

• His daddy issues are forever lurking in the background. He WILL eventually start projecting that awful, gaping void of parental approval onto you once he gets emotionally vulnerable enough, and the lengths he'll go to trying to deny any such hang-ups are somewhere between pathetic and hilarious. Might even try to accuse you of having a daddy kink at some point, if only so he can claim that any developing fixation was DEFINITELY NOT his idea!

He’ll make your eggs any way you want. Scrambled or over easy or boiled. Would you prefer beef or chicken? Fish? Just veggies? Rice? Done and done.
