Yo! I’m Jack (he/they), I’m 19 and I’ve been into whump for a long time (tho I’ve only been a lurker in the community until now 😅). I write and draw, we’ll see if I can work up the confidence to post any of it lol

After reblogging this post an hour or so ago I wised up and realized there’s no reason to make a game token for a blue flower. To demonstrate the utility of this craft technique, you’d use an orc or an elf or something like that. The first image above has got to be a photoshop. Here’s the original image:

What's your opinion on a villain being in false control due to a 'hero' severely cutting back on their powers to play along and then suddenly the hero just acting out (got spooked, annoyed, etc) and just absolutely crushing every hope and dream of the villain and potentially severely injuring them in the process. ?

fun story: my mom is actually the one who made the sign. she was in town for our baby shower and we were laughing about the "no boys allowed" sign and she was like "wait, hold on," switched the letters around, and voila! son boy allowed.

she used to work at a university library. her job was mostly helping students learn how to access and utilize the online resources held by the library. she was helping a student get into their account once and needed to know their password. when the student told her the pw was "son boy allowed" my mom, who is not hip to queer meme culture, said, "oh! do you know my daughter?"

and that's how she learned her silly joke was legendarily famous in certain online circles.

Or did nobody know, and this is the first time they realize there is something more to Whumpee/ things click into place now?

Absolutely adore when bubbly, upbeat Character A gets sick/injured and becomes loopy and dazed, giggling and rambling slurred compliments and vulnerable truths to usually stoic and graceful Character B, who's fretting over them and trying to bring down their fever/tend to their wounds and blushing furiously, trying to brush them off as being delirious and not thinking straight but unable to ignore their pounding heart and wandering mind, hidden feelings for them grow stronger

the sweet spot between a whumpee being drugged into unconsciousness and being fully aware is so good. like they're aware of what's happening to them but can do nothing to stop what's happening to them because of the drugs. they're not really processing it like a clear-headed person would. they're not putting meaning to sensation, its just sensation and raw fear. drugs take away both their physical and mental defenses.
