My genuine take is that they should make a movie starring Matthew Lillard and Skeet Ulrich again. Even if you technically can’t say they’re Billy and Stu, it should be very obvious that it’s meant to be them. (But also if Jason can go to space just revive them at this point. Or set it in an alternate universe where Sidney did die. Horror franchises aren’t meant to be that serious.)

The entire plot of the movie is that they’re murderous boyfriends hiding from the law, and it’s a Tucker and Dale vs Evil type comedy horror. Just a fun watch with that original Scream meta humor and commentary on horror as a whole.

Give the people non canon older Stuilly. Views right there. Not to mention it would just be so much fun seeing them go on another slasher spree.

Like I beg you to picture just an older but still dorky and loveable Stu hamming up their kills still. Or playing those true crime podcasts, just hoping their last job gets on an episode. Billy being still as weird as ever but noticeably looser. Like in his final scenes where he drops the nonchalant act. Letting his genuine personality shine through. A whole movie of them having that amazing chemistry again that made Scream so iconic.

You could make the movie be about them going after a copy cat killer or something. They’re offended anyone thinks “that they could replicate their magic” to poke fun at how ridiculous the Scream franchise got.

Legitimately would be such a fun idea for a cheesy B rate horror movie. At the VERY LEAST we need more of those two acting together.
