I just wanted to pop in with a quick question—and an apology. I think I was just really tired when I thought you deleted a comment. I’m so sorry about that; I must’ve just been seeing things.

But I do have a question! When you create those wonderful pictures, how did you come up with the pairings—Ominis & Smile, and Sebastian & Poppy? I love how people put their own creative spin on things. It honestly gives me a little hope that maybe one day I can do something like that too… though I don’t have the tech for it yet and probably never will. Still, I’m curious!

I hope you’re having a good day, and you absolutely don’t have to answer if you don’t want to. Please be careful and take care of yourself.

There’s one more thing I wanted to ask once I’m done with my break:

Would you be willing to tell me what Smile looks like, because I want to draw her and what your favorite color is? You’ve probably seen some of my drawings—I’m not great at drawing long hair, but I would try my best. This would be way in the future, not now, but I wanted to ask ahead of time. Again, no pressure at all.

Don't worry, actually I did read the comment, I didn't understand why it disappeared, but don't worry about it, everything is fine ^^

Well, about the pairings, hehehe, it's a funny situation!!

When I started imagining my lore, originally, Smile and Sebastian were supposed to be a couple (until she died in her 7th year…). I even wrote 18 audio story chapters following that line, but during that process I (and Smile) fell in love with Ominis, and then I couldn't write anything more about Sebastian and Smile. Excerpt from the Chapter: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐔𝐬 - 𝙿𝚊𝚛𝚝 2.

For me, everything was more harmonious and beautiful between Smile and Ominis, and so it was… I changed a large part of the story and currently Smilinis are the endgame couple. Excerpt from the Chapter: 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐁𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐝. - 𝙿𝙰𝚁𝚃 𝟹

Regarding Seb and Poppy, I'm not 100% sure yet if they will be officially paired in the story (I haven't written that act yet), but I don't intend to create an OC to be paired with Sebastian, and among the available NPCs, I thought Poppy might be a better fit! Well, Smiley is a ginger girl , freckles on her face and body and brown eyes. She wears her hair a little long during adolescence, until she's about 22 years old, after which she has short hair! If you prefer it that way, it's fine by me, I love her adult version. 1892 - 1906

Hey Smiley! I was curious what mod you use in order to have a child model. Hope this isn’t too much of a bother!

Hi friend, how are you all doing???

Well, the "child" photos are poses made with the Otis Photomode plugin (posemod), modeled to make the characters look younger (bigger cheeks, less defined jawline, bigger eyes, etc.)

The pose I used for my OC Otto to make him look like a child was based on Kedavra's pose and modified quite a bit until it fit my OC.

The arranged (and forced) engagement to the youngest Greengrass daughter was a command, a life he could not dare to refuse. The Gaunts, once again, leaving him without a single drop of hope for a life away from this pure-blood facade. But his heart ached. Every thought of Smile, every memory of the sound of her laughter, felt like a rebellion he could never act upon. Not without consequences.

It felt like betrayal.

He wanted to scream, to flee these Gaunt bindings, to take her hand and claim her as his own, but the threat to their lives was real. And Ominis knew it.

Smile, for her part, was a deep sorrow. Beyond the pain of seeing the one she loved in another girl’s arms at this cursed ball, she was to attend the Halloween Ball with Sebastian, her “ex”.

Sebastian had been watching them for weeks, understanding the pain in her eyes, but also the helplessness of his friend.

He had once been able to say that she had been his, some time in the past, but he still carried pieces of that affection. And for that reason, he could not leave her alone. He had asked her to be his partner at the ball, even if it wounded his pride and somehow hurt his heart.

All three were trapped by circumstance, by expectation, by duty. None of them wanted to be where they would be tonight.
