Random thoughts watching Liv & Maddie

- How was Liv working all by herself in Hollywood? She would’ve needed a guardian, especially at age 11. And her parents seem like actually decent parents so at least one would’ve gone with her. 

- Stop trying to make “Bam! What??” happen. It’s not going to happen. 

- Ocean seems to be a cross between Topanga and the BFF from Waverly Place. 

- These confessional cutaways are terrible with the 3-camera tv show style

- Why am I still watching this???

Theory up until the last 10-something seconds: she's from the future and that experimental drug is the only way to time travel, since it wipes your memory she needed to have the clues tattooed on her body. After the last 10 seconds: Ok, I guess it's just some crazy psychopath then...

I've been digging through some notes I made for a blog post like forever ago and I just want to say I totally called that Sin Rostro thing. I really should have posted this dumb thing back then but instead I'll just post this for posterity. From my notes app dated 11/20 2014: I'll admit, Jane the Virgin has got me hooked! I've been mulling over the mystery that is Sin Rostro and thought it'd be fun to make some predictions. Chances are, there is no way it could be someone that the show doesn't introduce as someone else at some point. Spoilers, spoilers, spoilers warning up through Chapter 6! We know Sin Rostro (probably) couldn't be... Jane - our affable heroine Alba - the moral compass Xo - doesn't seem like she'd have any interest in being a drug kingpin And It's probably not... Petra - something tells me if she was Sin Rostro she wouldn't be desperate for pre-nup money or have some intimidating Czech pointing a gun in her face. She's definitely being set up as a not-totally-evil, just-misunderstood antagonist Michael - the lead detective. Would be a crazy twist, though, if they showed how he sabotaged the investigation along the way. Disgusting Tom - poor guy was just a red herring Rafael - Mr Washboard Abs has enough going on, and honestly doesn't seem that sharp. But it could be... Magda - lady seems evil, but possibly just the small potatoes, daughter slapping brand of evil. (But seriously, how great is Priscilla Barnes?! I missed her) Michael's brother - criminal element, who knows where he's been for a while? Zaz - Coming back from the dead is the ultimate Soap Opera bad guy move! Rogelio - he seems genuinely self-absorbed and ditzy, it'd be a MAJOR twist if he was a drug kingpin. But how does a star of an American-produced telenovela have seemingly endless funds? Nadine - She and Michael always seem to be at odds, eh? Perhaps she's trying to derail the investigation? Loisa - gone for long periods of time, using substance abuse problems as an excuse, maybe? And she's awfully aggressive... Rafael and Louisa's dad: maybe an obvious choice? Dude seems terrible and could have crazy connections. How did the Solanos get rich, anyways? Rose - my personal vote! I don't know why, but I feel like this would be a juicy twist. Plus, I love Bridget Regan (even if she's un-recognizable since Legend of the Seeker) so it'd be great to see her get more (?) screen time and juicier storylines
