Now Carlos is the son of Cruella De'vil, the cruellest fashonista in the Isle. Nobody dares to double cross, for she will send her dog to haunt you down. Unfortunately, that dog is named Carlos. Cruella is the worst parent to ask for. Instead of treating her son the bare minimum like any other child on the Isle, he's more of her...pet. Feeds him scraps, demands him to watch her closet, and runs errands for him, which almost results his death.
Carlos fears dogs because of his mother's stories, and Harry Hook barking at him doesn't help. The youngest of the VKs requests help from his older siblings, which annoys them, especially Mal. With all his might, he pretends to be a lunatic like mother.
His mother always wishes for fabric from Jafar to run her clothing store in the Isle. Being the fashonista, she must showcase her talent and skills through her mannequin, who's named Carlos. Unfortunately, Carlos develops eating disorders since his mother starves him to make sure her mannequin is slim.
When Carlos arrives at Aurodon (Gonna change the name) university, he is paranoid of the smiles and the kind gestures. He and Evie major in fashion, but Carlos isn't passionate about it like her. During the time he models for her, they discuss their time in Aurodon.
Carlos meets the son of Cinderella, Paris. At first, Carlos has his doubts about the prince's kindness until the prince keeps on spoiling him with baked goods and complimenting him without asking anything in return. The prince breaks down his walls and fears by introducing Carlos, the animal shelter he works at. Seeing all the abandoned and abused animals helps him conquer his fears. In return, the prince learns and regrets about his parent's actions for sealing the villains, opening his eyes to the flaws of the barrier. Eventually, Carlos drops the fashion major and changes to computer science.
Without realising, Carlos falls in love with Paris. However, that conflicts when Mal goes on a date with a cursed prince. It angers Carlos, but he helps her to convince Paris's best friend (Son of Aladdin) are a couple.
At the ceremonial crowning, the gang defeats Jafar. (Forgot to mention Jafar is the main villain in this story, not Malificent) Paris is cured of his curse and is heartbroken at the brainwashing he went through. Fortunately, Mal explains to Paris it was her idea and asks to give Carlos a second chance. Paris agrees but requests to be given time to reconsider.
Bittersweetly, Carlos accepts his request.
Carlos still has a lot of exploring to do.
I drew such details, knowing damn well I'll never draw them again, but it was worth it. I really need to know how to draw curly hair. Designed red gloves like those old cartoon gloves for reference. Hope I did him justice.
I didn't like Carlos's hair straightened in the movies. Disney show the curls!
Gave him long legs because I'm trying to push my skills to diversify body types.
