Gator and Kurt are twins. Mom left them with Roy when they were young. Gator is still a deputy and acts as he does in the show. Kurt is more soft spoken, still deeply insecure/awkward, somewhat pervy, and desperately trying to get famous through streaming to leave the ranch.

ANYWAY, reader is best friends with Gator (maybe you’ve hooked up a couple times) but they don’t really have feelings for each other. You’ve only had a couple of run ins with Kurt, because Gator doesn’t like to show off his family of course, but you’re infatuated with this weird, streaming obsessed guy. You try to find more ways to interact with him, whether that be purposefully running into him when at Gator’s, watching/commenting on his streams, holding eye contact and giving him soft smiles as much as possible. Determined to get closer to him in every sense, and in any way.

Kurt thinks you’re cute, but feels like you’re off limits because your best friends with his brother, and thinks Gator would kill him if he tried anything. Gets so bashful when you initiate conversation with him. Tripping over his words, and feet, lol. He’s definitely thought about how it’d feel to touch you, hold you, be close to you. You consume his every thought. Despite all your attempts to show him your feelings, he still doesn’t realize that you want him just as much as he wants you.

Gator knows you both want each other, and finds it hilarious. Continues to embarrass Kurt any chance he can, and loves to cock block you both. Deep down though he’s kind of jealous because you’re one of the best fucks he’s had, and can’t imagine his brother getting that :p

Ok hear me out. Stranger Things set in the 2000s, but with the same dedication to being a period piece. Will is stumbling around the Upside Down singing Bring Me To Life by Evanescence. The boys still talk on radios because they don't have phones, and Nancy is always running out of minutes. To get Max away from Vecna they have to frantically find Breakaway by Kelly Clarkson on her iPod shuffle, and then later they have to make it the ONLY song on the iPod shuffle. The guys at Hawkins lab hack Barb's MySpace to make it look like she ran away. Ted supports the war in Iraq. Murray is a 9/11 truther. Jonathan has the emo haircut and Steve has the Beiber. Nancy's hair gets flatter and flatter every season. Do you guys see the vision here

elphaba and glinda's scene at the ozdust ballroom is already heartbreaking as it is. but the previous scene? elphaba literally told madame morrible she would quit working with her if glinda wasn't included in the classes as well. she risked her dream of meeting the wizard for glinda, she thought that was worth it for her. you don't do that for someone just to repay her, you don't do that for someone you supposedly hate so much.

the dichotomy between an attack dog vs a guard dog is like. an attack dog is sent out to carry out violence. it's starved and abused to ensure aggression. it has no other purpose outside of Attacking at the whim of its master. it's constantly on guard because a threat can come from any direction at any time. it's the dog chained up in a basement that's only set loose when there's something to kill.

but a guard dog is protecting instead of attacking. instead of being sent out to fight, it comes home to defend the house. it may be constantly on watch for an external threat, but it is content to lay with the sheep until a wolf comes to the door. the guard dog has a warm place to sleep, and is well fed and treated like a member of the household. it's free to leave at any time but it stays to protect the house anyway. do u get it. do u understand.
