The fact that Xie Lian mashed his martial god title and his surname together to make the pseudonym "Hua Xie" suggests the possibility that he has, at some point, done the same trick with his given name.

What I'm trying to say is that, at some nebulous future point, I need to write a fic where he goes by "Hua Lian". Purely because I think it would be hilarious.
