It's heavily implied that Alisa was the one who left Nash, not the other way around. The whole "Nash chose Libby over Alisa" argument is ridiculous(to me) because Alisa was the one who chose her job(and chose to stay with the Hawthorne's) over Nash in the first place.
Plus, Alisa and Nash were already broken up when Nash met with Libby.
Edit: This post isn't in any way shape or form anti Alisa. She is one of my favorite characters and I'm not criticizing her choice here, I'm merely pointing out that she has already made a choice before Libby came in the picture.
I'm aware that it's a nuanced matter where both of them had traumas and stuff they had to deal with. Nash was also starting to drift off and wanted to leave the whole hawthorne business behind(but not his family).
I wanted to respond to an argument I saw on the internet which was "Nash chose Libby over Alisa". This statement is false because 1. There was never really a love triangle between them/no overlap. 2. Alisa was the one who made the choice(a choice heavily tied to her trauma as one of the commenters pointed out) to stay with the Hawthorne's and continue working for them. Again, I wanted to point out that Alisa was the one(heavily implied to) insinuate the break up as their relationship just wasn't working.
Lol i realised how parallel this is
Ps i want more of alisa and gray please and omg i still believe the hc that they danced together at Nashās wedding
Btw this is the first book and the other one is gr

Oki do you know what I dislike? The way JLB reduced so much of Libby and Alisa's conflict to Nash. My issue isn't that two female characters are fighting, women are human and rivalry, resentment, competition and conflict are completely normal. In fact some of the best character dynamics come from characters genuinely clashing with each other.
What bothers me is that their tension feels too centered around a man when there were so many more interesting directions it could have gone. Libby and Alisa are different enough as people to have conflicts based on their personalities, values, goals and flaws. That would've felt much more layered than constantly bringing the focus back to Nash.
What's even more frustrating is that the fandom often falls into the same trap. People hate Libby because they ship Nash and Alisa, while others hate Alisa because they ship Nash and Libby. Instead of discussing the characters themselves, everything gets filtered through shipping. At that point, it feels like both girls are being reduced to love interests or obstacles rather than being treated as individual characters.
That's why the whole thing feels like a missed opportunity to me. There was potential for a much deeper rivalry but both the story and parts of the fandom (TikTok š) seem more interested in who fits better with Nash than in Libby and Alisa as characters.

at what point do yāall just admit you want what elriel already has?
They hate their canon so bad
My favourite and most unhinged theory is that Nesta knows how to read Wyrdmarks. Mama A taught her (and only her) how to read and write them. They were at the entrance of the cottage so either she or their father put them there. Feyre definitely wouldnāt know them. Thatās a given. And I donāt think mama A would have bothered with Elain. But with Nesta?? Yeah she definitely would have taught her eldest.
And who knows, maybe that knowledge could be useful to her if letās say⦠she were to world travel to Erilea šš and would meet a certain witch queen?

im da middle ground bc jameson was never like my favorite or least favorite I like him but he doesnt stick out to me
You bet I would've gotten the Nesta Archeron bracelet too if I didn't have a hatred for how mixed metal looks on me š«©š«©
We already have a leader couple with Feysand, and a warrior couple with Nessian. Weāre going to have a spy couple next, and thatās Elriel. I donāt even know why people want another warrior couple with Gwynrielāweāve already read that story, and Gwyn isnāt even a warrior like Nesta. Why do you guys just want a couple that acts as an extension of Nesta? Itās literally no different. They say Elriel is going to be boring, but then they turn around and ask for ACOSF 2.0
