In every universe (even the original) except the DID au, Neil Josten separating “Neil” and “Nathaniel” scares me deeply. I’m so worried about the fall out of that than anything I se that includes it makes me anxious and vaguely upset
I hope you don’t mind me sharing
I agree, I was specifically talking about his own separation of himself, I was specifically thinking about his separation of his actions, which isn’t as big a thing in canon, but people talk about it A LOT and in fan content I see so much of it. Which isn’t a bad thing but it was making me sad late last night :)

There’s people who read books and there’s people who put on the main characters shoes and personality before taking a long walk
I love people making cross fandom content (especially with anime) cause they’ll put a bunch of fucked up and/or crazy powerful people in the room like Killua, Gojo, Dazai, Michael Afton, Neil Josten, etc.. and then all of a sudden you see someone like Shoyo Hinata or Tetsuya Kuroko and even though for their universe they’re basically superhuman (or others in their universe are) they’re still just playing sports.. and have otherwise (mostly) normal lives. I’m always sitting there like “go back to your highschool championship my dude, what are you doing here? Why do you know these people?”
I don’t know if this isn’t how it works for other people, but personally, tracker apps like ‘I am Sober’ work best when you delete them after like two years sober, cause at that point for me, if I’m still keeping track of it, that’s no longer something I get prouder and prouder of, it’s just something that reminds me of my problem
I’ve used some ASL sign since I was a baby, before I could even talk, but I’ve been learning auslan for a little while now because I live in Australia. One of my friends (hard of hearing) was talking to me using finger spelling (because I’m still very new to the language) along with any signs I did know, and someone asked us what we were talking about. I did the sign for blowjob (because I’m annoying and also didn’t want to talk to this person) and they asked me what I meant. I refuse to believe they didn’t know what I meant because that sign is so fucking obvious
Boutta take max dose/24hrs of bisolven take opioids and sleep
Just tried to flip someone off and did the ASL sign for I love you instead.. gods sign I should be less hateful I guess
The foxes favourite games:
- did Andrew and Neil leave early because of trauma or because they’re horny
- is the heavy breathing behind the closed door people making out or is someone having a panic attack
- can we get Neil to admit to literally anything
- is this fox asking me to have a sleepover because trauma or because friendship
dissociation is just pressing the wrong controller button irl
Is pressing 5 and 4 in meccha chameleon
having friends is cool until they worry too much and get in the way of your self-destructive tendencies
we don’t really have axe murderers anymore
Yeah I mean look what happened to Nathan wesninski
Kinda sad we don’t see Jeremy’s POV of Neil coming to visit in chapter 17 of tsc, cause like, I want to see what he thought of Neil Josten (someone he mostly knows about from Kevin, who probably told him very little, and the Media) coming to their house, not even stepping inside, saying a couple things in French and convincing Jean to leave the house right after a brutal attack, without having said more than 1 word to Jeremy.
“One improbable, impossible person whom the Foxes hated with an unsubtle and unexplained ferocity.”
This line from Jeremy in TSC is really interesting because it gives us perspective on other teams views on the ravens/Riko hate from the foxes. Like it shows us how truly little they know
(Everytime anyone says anything about anything)
I’d like to, very publicly if possible, disagree
“You certainly got the better end of the stick”
Maybe it was a bad pile of sticks. Maybe every stick in it was shitty on both ends and we just grabbed what seemed best at the time
